Went in on a Saturday around 5:00 pm. Our server was wonderful and the food was delicious. We had cheese curds. I had the truffle burger and if you love mushrooms you'll love the burger. It was cheesy, juicy and I'd come back again to order it. My husband had the Juicy Brucie and it was stuffed with cheese. This is definitely a hidden gem. We will go back but it will be hard to decide because everything on the menu looked amazing.

Great local place not to far from Skiburst mountain. A okace to stop in while visiting for a cold beverage or a bite to eat. Great small town feel with a dedicated staff and great service. Had the burgers and the mother clicker all food was hot served fast and tasted so good!!! Can't wait until next years annual tubing trip to stop back in!

I've seen pictures on social media of some awesome looking burgers and soup from Local Press Burger Bar, but stopping in Kewaskum usually isn't convenient for me. I was able to cobble together an excuse to head up that way with my kids over a recent weekend and we stopped for lunch. I ordered a build your own burger with double patties (2/3#) and cheese on a hard roll with fries for the side. One kid ordered a bacon cheeseburger on a potato bun with fries and the other had chicken strips with fries. I also got a bowl of soup for myself, which was chicken noodle that day.The soup was nearly perfect. You could tell it was homemade with the large chunks of real chicken and cavatappi noodle, which is uncommon for chicken noodle soup. My one thought while eating it is was that it could have used a little salt.Ironically, I thought the burger had an excessive amount of salt on most of it, which is a shame because in the moments where there wasn't as much salt, the flavor reminded me of the burger I get from Friar Tucks in Oshkosh and Fond du Lac, which I consider to be my favorite burger in the world. It had the potential to be just as good, especially with the unexpectedly awesome hard roll. If they can better manage the salt on the burger, this would be a new go to of mine even with Kewaskum not being convenient. The kids liked their food, which was a plus, and the bite I tried of one of the chicken strip was great, maybe among the best chicken strips I've had. I couldn't find a picture of a kids menu anywhere on social media, but it's pretty basic with a (cheese)burger, chicken strips, and mac and cheese.I know they have special cheesecakes that rotate, but the cherry kind they had that day didn't appeal to me. I'm hoping to stop back the next time they have the animal cookie cheesecake in stock.

I recently ate here with my son and daughter in law. We had a appetizer of Funyon onion petals. They were very good. I ordered The Dirty Harry burger with fries. It was good. My son had The Beasty Boy Burger with Truffle fries. He said was very good. My daughter in law had the On The Fence burger with fries. She said was good. The food is fresh and worth the wait as made to order. The fries are nice and crispy but soft. The business was clean and the staff friendly. Would recommend as they offer some very unique burgers.

The food and services were terrific. We had the special of the week French onion burger and fries. This was our first visit here in Kewaskum. We usually go to Sheboygan. It is nice to have a place close to Cascade where we live. We will definitely be back.

Katrina and I had dinner Friday night. I had the press classic burger, with cheddar cheese and truffle fries. Great burger just the right amount of toppings. Truffle fries were loaded with flavor. Katrina had the portobello mushroom stuffed ravioli with shrimp in a white wine sauce. She loved it. We will be returning soon!!

Son and I went there for dinner. We both ordered the deluxe grilled cheese, however, we both received the crab rangoon grilled sandwich. We both took bites and my son asked what kind of weird cheese was in there. We started to question what we got just as the server came over and told us she punched it in wrong. Thankfully, neither of us are allergic because that could have been deadly for someone who was. She offered to have our original order remade. I opted to just keep mine but my son hated it so he wanted his remade. She came back and said they were out of bread (on a Saturday night, with only two other couples in there) so basically he had fries for dinner. I ended up eating half my sandwich but it felt like a lead ball in my stomach. She didn't charge us for the meal and boxed up the uneaten portion, but we tossed it in a dumpster while on our walk home. Now, two hours later, my stomach is churning. Not only that, but the woman working in the kitchen (not sure if she was the cook or what) was, I'm assuming, vaping, as I saw her blow some 'smoke' out of her mouth before coming out to the bar area. How nice. While in the bar area, it was one F-bomb after another. I get it's a bar, but it's also a restaurant where kids are eating. Don't think I'd go back there if we were all starving.

Foodies and sport parents: You may think Kewaskum is not the place for a five star review but you are wrong. This foodie burger paradise is disguised as a bar with expected subpar bar offerings. But you are wrong. Take a look at the menu: elk, pulled pork, wagyu and truffle are a few ingredients listed. The owner/chef told us he just wants to make great food with the best ingredients. And that he did. We had attentive and knowledgeable servers and a wonderful dining experience. Do NOT underestimate this bar on the corner. It's a delectable find. I told the owner we would drive a half an hour to get a burger this good again. If you're ever in town for a high school sporting event stop by and see for yourself. It's right across the street from the high school and an experience you'll want to repeat even when your team isn't playing there.
