Leroy Meats of Horicon

My family and I were in Hustisford for an event and decided to drive a little farther afterwards to stop at Leroy Meats. While there, I picked up a few packs of specialty brats including mac and cheese, taco, Cajun, and beer + onion + butter.I haven't made the taco and Cajun brats yet, so I can't comment on those, and I didn't care for the mac and cheese brats, so I wouldn't get those again. The beer, onion, and butter brats, however, were outstanding. They tasted exactly like a brat that had been soaking in a beer and onion bath. Easily the best and most accurate tasting beer brat I've ever eaten. I would gladly go out of my way to get more of these.

I finally got to try the jalapeño sticks and they were pretty tasty with a little heat and probably the most memorable jalapeño snack stick that I have had.I'm a little bummed because the deluxe thin fresh pizza is so far from where I live and I can't have them when ever I want one. I really liked the fresh deluxe thin because it had a nice thin crisp crust from my pizza oven. It was so delicious with good sausage was my first thought and the rest sank in. I especially liked how fresh the toppings were because I hate canned mushrooms and the veggies were sliced thin enough for all the flavors to come out with out making the crust soggy like a lot of deluxe pizzas do. I'm going to have to make the trip again and get some more in the future because I really liked it.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! In my opinion they have the best meats and selection in Dodge County. They always have fresh meat products along with different sausages, snack sticks, cheese and BACON!! They usually have quite a few weekly specials and they always have numerous types of specialty brats on hand. They also serve lunch specials daily. It's usually nothing fancy, but it is always good and will give you that home cooked, full belly felling. If you are in Horicon you definitely need to stop in!

Took a ride out here on my cycle on a Saturday. I live about 60 miles away and figured it would be a nice ride and a chance to score some quality meats. SCORE!First, when I pull in, I find them grilling various sausages and such in the parking area. It was more or less lunch time so I indulged and in the process was able to try some of their homemade brats. Yummy. Then inside to shop. An amazing variety of homemade brats, hot dogs, beef sticks, etc. were available. Fresh cuts of meat too. Various sauces, marinades, etc. to choose from as well. All prices were very competitive in my opinion. Well I ended up buying a variety of Sausages and a thick bone in ribeye steak for dinner that night which grilled up deliciously. All in all, a great place to stop during a fun cycle ride on a gorgeous early fall day. I am sure I will do it again.

We were given a coupon for this place from the Playful Goose when we checked in. The store is small but packed with goodies. The meat case has cuts of chicken, beef and pork. The featured products are their bratwurst. There are about 45 different kinds. My favorite is the Badgerland brat, which has cheese in it. They have a small parking lot but have additional parking in the adjacent lot and on the street. I mention this because the place is busy with a steady stream of cars in and out. Most of the bratwurst run about $3.99 a pound. I would spend that for the quality of the product they sell.

This place is 5 star. Best quality meats. Everything we try is excellent. Prices are good. There's always a coupon/ free item when you spend enough and the pizzas are better than restaurant quality. Can't say enough great things other than I wish they were closer to me! We drive 45 minutes just to go there.

The meats are great. The service is with a smile and they know their meat cuts! The chick was plump and juicy without being freakishly big. Hubby loves the spreads and the personal pizzas were yummy with the perfect thin crust! It's worth the hour+ one-way trip!

Good service, high quality food and the best brisket sandwich I've ever had! Will be back!

Their food is delicious! We used them for catering, the size of pork chops during the tasting was 4x the size of what was actually served at our wedding. They also ran out of food when I ordered extra than needed. Their service and food was great though!
