Sad that I only get to come here once a year when we take a girls trip. I should have stocked up more. Well- priced and you can taste the quality in their products! I love their beef tenderloin!! This year I also tried the twice baked potatoes. Enjoyed a delicious meal from their food. Next year, definitely purchasing more to freeze for future use:)

I don't even know where to start. If you are looking for a variety of things to grill, smoke or sear this is the place to go. They have a huge selection of homemade brat flavors, sausage and snack stick flavors, beef, pork, chicken and so much more. If you don't see what you want, just ask. Often times I have the butcher do custom cutting for me and if they don't have it in stock they will get it.This location (the other location is in Horicon, WI) also has a craft beer selection and a selection of liquor and wine. They also have a deli where you can get sliced to order deli meat along with beef jerky and summer sausage. Their staff is always friendly and willing to help. If you are a hunter, Leroy Meats also does venison processing and offers a variety of items to choose from. You need to stop in and experience Leroy Meats of Fox Lake yourself!!

I want to start off by saying that I love Leroy Meats and have been a customer of theirs for years. Mostly bringing my deer in to be processed here. Always seems like a good value and have taken them to this location since they bought the place out across the street. I also will continue to do business there in regards to my other specialty meat needs. However the experience I just got was absolutely ridiculous and I hope the owner takes note of this. I picked up my deer (solid sized doe) today and in the box was maybe 16lbs of burger and a few packages of steaks. I am normally used to a box and maybe a bit more of deer but this box seemed abnormally light. Didn't think anything of it. I get home and notice I am missing A LOT of meat. So I look at the cut card and it states "shoulder shot both loins damaged". I shot this deer in the head so I was very confused. So I called up and was greeted by a very nice lady. She transferred me to the "butcher in charge of doing deer" and I asked what this meant. First I was told that bullets do "funny things and bounce around in the meat"... Absolutely not possible in this case since the head had a very clear entrance and exit wound. Then he told me that "you said you had a buck and brought that in was that shoulder shot?" Nope and I asked for the cuts to be very different. Then I got yet another excuse I have never had before "The loins dried up on this one" That's why you didn't get the loins. The funny thing is (which I didn't say to him) I actually had the loins and back straps. Finally I interrupted him and stated very plainly what my profession was (butcher related) and in my 30 years of hunting I have never heard these excuses before. His response "Well I don't know what to tell you. That is what happened." Now I offered to show picture evidence of the deer being shot and where. He refused to discuss. The likeliness of what really happened and after seeing the loins I know this is the truth. They put the wrong tag on the wrong deer. Mine was a very sizeable doe and the backstraps look like they came from a fawn. I can at least understand that happening since there was three of us dropping off and there were all kinds of deer laying on the ground with no tags on any of the deer laying there. Since I just moved I was going to start butchering my own deer, but since they have done such a wonderful job before for years I figured I would let them handle it. Yup not going to happen anymore. Bottom line please just own up to your errors. People make mistakes. If that was said I would of let this go but I HATE being lied to.

Disappointed! Drove about 40 miles to buy a bunch of brats. Even called ahead to ask about selection as it is January. Person contacted said they had almost all flavors available. All of their advertising says 60 flavors of brats. Only about 12 flavors available. Long drive and unable to get what we wanted. That said, the store is nice and they do have a large selection of other meats, groceries, pizza and specialty items. I guess you just can't depend on the brats year round.
