Lee John's Catering

Have been meaning to review this caterer since 2016, when I chose them to cater my wedding. Better late than never! Do not pass up this very special company. Unbelievable food, thoughtful interactions and generally wonderful people. My fiancé was unable to attend the tasting with me so I brought my father. My mother is handicapped and my father felt guilty that she could not join us. He mentioned it to the server working with us, so they packed up extra servings of everything we tried, and gave us several other "take-home" gifts. As if that was not enough to choose them, I will simply say that we were treated like royalty every step of the way. They even arranged linen and chair rental for me, coordinating with the venue. In terms of food, it was all plated. They take great pride in presentation, and it shows. The food was delicious! I only regret that I didn't get to eat more as I was running around trying to talk to the guests. A lot has changed in the 7 years that have passed since our wedding. But I hold this business in the highest regard. If you want to be treated like family, look no further than Lee John's Catering.

Just recently I got married and made the best choice of my wedding to hire Lee John's Catering. We had a large wedding and served a duet plate of flat iron steak and Sicilian chicken, everything was done to perfection. I have never, and I am not exaggerating, had such divine food combined with the presentation in all my years of traveling to Europe and the U.S. The herbs were fresh, the food was local, the sauces paired beautiful with the dishes **mouth is watering as I type**. Your guests will be introduced to a whole new level of catering. I cannot say enough about the food, the service, the presentation, the ease of planning, and the wonderful staff of Lee Johns. Thank you for turning my big day into a magical one.

We cannot thank everyone at Lee John's enough for the wonderful job for the food at our wedding. It was just wonderful!!!! We had our wedding at the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center with approximately 160 guests. We heard nothing but praise and how delicious and beautifully presented the food was. Truly wonderful job!!! We had 4 appetizers, a salad, duet plate and vegetarian option, dessert bar, coffee and tea bar and even late night snacks of chips and guacamole and mini sandwiches. I personally didn't try the desserts, because I have a gluten/soy/dairy allergy, but I heard that the cream cheese stuffed strawberries and the tirimisu were out of this world! I was impressed with the care and diligence put into our meals as well as all the guests meals. I heard the beef tenderloin and Phyllo dough stuffed mashed potatoes were both phenomenal and beautifully presented! My wife and I had the sicilian stuffed chicken breast dish. I was impressed at how Kim and Chef Louis and Lisa were able to tend to our food allergens. We asked for gluten/soy/dairy free on some menu items, and the staff actually brought us out our own tray of appetizers, specially prepared meals and set out almond milk for us at the coffee/tea bar. Pretty awesome! They really went above and beyond! The communication from Kim in setting up everything, from the initial tasting, the the choosing of desserts and arranging for the final headcount, seating charts, etc was top notch! Great service overall and the food was amazing! I highly recommend using Lee John's for any event needing catering.

Lee John's catered my wedding; everything was FABULOUS from the presentation to taste to service. Would highly recommend to anyone!

I've been meaning to write this review for some time now, but I cannot thank Sara and everyone at Lee John's catering enough for the outstanding job that they did for our wedding last October. From the linens, to the food, to the impeccable service, everything was more than I could have imagined. From the initial process of reaching out to Lee John's and working with Sara to the day of the wedding, I was treated with nothing but the best, I felt more like a friend than a customer. Sara helped out tremendously when I called in a bit of a panic the day before the wedding, but she ensured me everything would be handled and I shouldn't worry at all. You don't know how much that means to hear the words "don't worry at all" the day before your wedding :) The food is something that everyone continues to talk about, we get told all the time that the food at our wedding was the best they've had, I couldn't agree more. Thank you again for everything!

Our guests couldn't stop raving about the passed appetizers. Great selection and they kept coming. I didn't think it could get any better, but it did. Dinner was served with white gloves. The food was served fast and hot. It tasted even better and was plated to perfection. The bread was out of this world! We had a dessert bar rather than a cake, and it was a major hit! Especially the cheesecake lollipops! Lisa went above and beyond. Each item was better than the last. Guests also loved the favors which were a two-pack of chocolate truffles. Also, I can't forget about the coffee - it was a perfect ending to a fabulous meal and desserts. Thank you Louie, Lisa, Sarah F, and the rest of your staff - delicious and professional. The Best of the Best!!

We had Lee John's cater our daughters wedding on June 11th. The service was second to none. Starting with the appetizers everything was amazing. The main dinner selection for 200 guests was out of this world. Everything came out of the kitchen piping hot. The plate presentation looked as though we were at a 5 star restaurant. The staff really showed off their professionalism when each table was served. Eight servers came out circled the table plate in arm and served each of our guests at the same time. It was really like a little show. Everyone at the wedding went on and on about how delicious the food was. I thank you with all my heart for making our daughters day perfect. Fantastic job catering the Wilson. Center Big Event! The tenderloin was done perfectly, homemade breads and dessert was delicious. Highly recommend for anyone's event.

We recently used Lee John's Catering for our wedding in downtown Milwaukee. Everything was PERFECT! I could not say enough about the company and their team. During the wedding planning process, we worked with Sarah, whose attention to detail was second to none. We decided on three food stations, where guests could walk around and try small plates of different types of food. It was executed exactly as we had hoped, and more. What makes Lee John's so special is the little touches that they add. For example, the personalized toppings that we selected for our Mac n Cheese Bar, down to the type of dish that we wanted it served in. Lee John's also catered our dessert bar, which was equally delicious. Our guests LOVED the food. I would honestly rate Lee John's more than 5 stars if I could! I would absolutely recommend them and use them again.

I worked with Lee John's Catering for my recent New Year's Eve wedding and could not be more happy. From start to finish, Kim (our main contact) was so attentive, warm, and helpful. We did a family style dinner and they worked with us to create a menu that would be heart and filling for our winter wedding but that also worked for the tastes of myself (vegetarian) and my husband. Our guests loved the food and the entire staff was so professional, helpful, and just helped make the event seamless. They were all around wonderful and we are very grateful. Thank you Lee John's!
