Ordered the sweet and sour chicken combination lunch plate. Comes with fried rice and a spring roll. Sweet and sour chicken was perfect! I would recommend this dish. Fried rice was good but average for the typical Chinese restaurant. It was not authentic Chinese fried rice. Authentic Chinese fried rice is cooked with egg and scallion and bean sprout. Americanized Chinese fried rice contains peas carrot and onion. I think peas carrot and onion are gross and don't belong in Chinese fried rice. I wish more places would just make it the traditional way with egg scallion and bean sprout. The dish came with a spring roll, and I did think the spring roll was slimy and gross. I've had better ones at other restaurants. I ordered a side of crab rangoon. They were soft and chewy and perfect! Lots of filling. I prefer these folded ones over the star-shaped ones.

I have been trying to get over to this place for a while to try the unique looking egg roll, don't go on a Sunday because I have never found them open on the days that I tried.I finally got over on a Saturday for lunch and just two tables in service while a buffet was going on for a cheap $7.50 per person so I'm thinking that this is not a good sign. I was promptly greeted and my order was taken and ready in about 15 minutes. I ordered the lunch special L15 Hunan beef with a crab Rangoon and chicken fried rice with the pork/shrimp egg roll for an up charge. The egg roll was super crispy and looked like it was wet dipped and deep fried. I noticed nice chunks of pork and shrimp but not very flavorful after the first bite so I used the hot mustard and soy sauce, that's my egg roll routine any way and it came to life. I loved how it was fresh with the super crunchy shell and very crunchy fresh cabbage, it was better than average overall. The crab Rangoon that is a option with the lunch special was average at best and nothing special. The chicken fried rice was the dark flavorful kind with that char/grill flavor form a seasoned wok is how I would describe it. The lunch special chicken fried rice was al dente and not cooked to mush or sticky that had all white meat chicken by the way, better than the average lunch special fried rice taste wise. The Hunan beef was average with thin slices of beef and more veggies than beef but they had some crunch left in them that I like. I wanted some beef that I could sink my teeth in but not in this lunch special.Overall it's a solid 3.5 so I'm leaving the four stars because it was better than some of the average lunch specials that I have had and I like how they do the egg rolls a little different.

A friend told me his place had the best Crab Rangoon she's ever had, so I decided to make the trek out to give it a try. I also ordered the BBQ Pork Pan Fried Noodles dinner, which came with choice of eggroll or soup. The Crab Rangoon were different than others I've had. The wonton wrappers were a lighter texture than most, but a little greasier than most. The cream cheese was thicker than most and not creamy or "gooey," like I prefer. I also prefer a slight sweetness from the crab, and that was missing from this order, so I would not order it again, but I can see how others may like this style. The eggroll came with the thickest and crispiest "shell" I've ever had, but I thought it lacked in filling. I used the hot mustard and sweet-n-sour sauce to add flavor. Finally, the BBQ Pork Pan Fried Noodles arrived as a large mound of food. I was able to eat about a 1/4 of it and took the rest home for lunch leftovers the next day. It was cooked well, but I would have liked more pork and more flavor. I've had better versions of this dish. I'll add soy sauce when I have it for lunch. This place is too far for me to go try their lunch buffet, which some reviewers seem to like, and maybe I would like other dishes more, but I didn't enjoy my food enough to warrant a second chance.

I have been going to another Chinese restaurant for 17years and i was sold on it as being best ever. Will i found another great one if not even better. i found Le Gong just a few weeks ago and have not missed going there every week since. There food is fantastic and there service is excellent. I have tried a few things on there menu and have been so pleased i can't stop going back. I told women behind counter how great it was and have not stopped going back.If you get a chance you need to stop or order on phone and get a great meal at a reasonable price.thanks some for the fantastic food

I've been going to Le Gong for YEARS (15+). I absolutely loved the previous owners and their food. The new owners are nice, however the food has drastically changed. It doesn't seem as gourmet as before. I miss the old Le Gong flavor, however this food is still good, it's not the same. Also, a third of the restaurant was turned into an office area, so there's about 5 tables available now. It's definitely more of a fast food vibe now, compared to the old family dining feel that I always enjoyed. I mostly likely will be returning, just not as frequently.

Ordered online, food was ready when they said it would be and staff was polite handing it over. Food was good. Will be going back to try a couple things I haven't seen on Chinese menus before.

Don't waste your money, they are under new ownership. Food was terrible, I ordered shrimp chop suey and got shrimp subgum, they've added peas to the fried rice, my roommate's orange chicken had broccoli in it instead of oranges. We've been getting our food from Le Gong for years, but we won't be going back.

FANS BEWARE!! The new ownership has ruined a favorite. Chicken is now tough and chewy. Recipes have changed. You could rely on spice with the old owners ("little spice, medium spice, or hot?"), but new spicy dishes lacked any heat. We won't be back.
