We enjoyed another fantastic tasting lunch at LDs BBQ today, but be forewarned that due to ROAD Construction it's a little challenging finding a route to get into the massive parking lot. Be sure to check your gps and follow the detour signs, or go through the subdivisions and parking lots of neighboring businesses.I ordered a 1/4 chicken white meat, a 1/4 rack of ribs, potato salad and coleslaw.The ribs and chicken were perfectly seasoned which didn't require any additional sauce but there are 4 different flavors to choose from. Also the chicken breast was juicy, which means that the owner, knows how to smoke foods properly. I had to take the potato salad home because the portions are plentiful,Stop in and try this place out, it's worth the trip. There's plenty of napkins and take out bags for leftovers.YES! I will return to this restaurant.

Great BBQ joint with delicious sauces and staple selection of meats.I got the 1/2 rack of ribs and it was a ton of food, almost seemed like 3/4 or full rack elsewhere.All four sauces were good and somewhat similar to each other with varying levels of tangy-ness.They don't have an official kids menu, but the small mac and cheese is a good choice or you can order any of the "by the pound" meats in 1/4lb increments for smaller tummies.

Simply outstanding. I've been burned by other counter BBQ places across the country, but this one didn't disappoint. We ordered the super sampler that pretty much gave use the entire barnyard. Great smoke flavor and nothing was dry. Definitely worth the drive to East Troy.

So glad this place expanded a few years ago and offers great BBQ. It is our go to spot. The pulled chicken is fall apart juicy delicious. The cornbread is also a must try. Their food is delicious and reasonably priced. We have done larger orders for carry out or hosting parties and it always is a win. They have a variety of sauces as well. Highly recommend!

This place is delicious. The best Barbecue I have found on Wisconsin so far. There is literally always a line here for a reason. They also have a terrific variety of sauces and all are good. My gosh-to is the Mac n Cheese with chicken. It seems like a weird thing to get, but it is so frickin good I am drooling just thinking about it. My partner usually gets brisket which he says is excellent. I think this is the 10th time we have visited and we live almost 40 minutes away. That should tell you something. We dropped our daughter off at Girl Scout Camp and then immediately headed to LDs.

Best BBQ in Wisconsin. Every time I'm in town I make sure to stop by at least once! Make sure to order ahead so you don't have to wait in a long line!

Heard this was a good place to stop for BBQ. So on our way home we decided to give it a try. Seating was decent and service was courteous. Sadly when it came to the food we were not impressed. The pulled pork was lukewarm and dripping so much it made the bottom bun soggy. The coleslaw was very liquid like and the flavor profile was not to my liking. The beans seemed bland. And the Mac and cheese noodles seemed undercooked and harder than other Mac and cheese I have had.

Quite the meat. Amazing people working. I got the meat Mac and cheese, man, tasted like some real pork. For sure coming back

Wife and I were coming home from Madison and stopped here for lunch a week ago. We've eaten here a few times before, finding the food generally very good and learning to avoid the summer fly problem, both inside and out. This recent visit however was a big disappointment. Continuing to be very good, were the rib tips, pulled pork, baked beans, and corn bread. The let downs were the ribs as the rub was way too salty, to the point I stopped eating them and threw the rest out!!The mac n' cheese lacked enough cheese flavor.Fortunately, the rib tips didn't get the same high dose of the salty rub!! So, there are still some entrees and sides we like. But throwing out food is something we rarely do!!Hoping for more edible and consistent quality!

Ordered a deluxe pork sandwich here a few weeks ago. My friend ordered a regular pork sandwich. On the menu inside, it states that with the deluxe sandwich, you get 50% more meat than the regular. Turns out they just use a bigger piece of sandwich bread to make it seem this way. The staff put one scoop of pork on both our sandwiches. What is the point in ordering the more expensive deluxe sandwich if you don't even get any more added to it? Just a waste of money. Also, my friend who ordered the regular pork sandwich didn't even get their side. The staff forgot it. Also, the portions are very small for the sandwich meal here, but it tastes pretty good.
