Walking into this place is like walking right back in time! It's an old school ice cream parlor with matching decorations! They have a great candy selection. You can sit down and enjoy your ice cream or get it to go! The turtle sundae with butterscotch and fudge, YUM. It is a little pricey but fun and delicious for the experience. Worth a visit!

Best ice cream I have had in a long time. While the place is smaller than the pictures, it makes up on the style of the place and how nice and talented the staff are at what they do. I plan to come back a lot more with my family.

Ok I have walked and driven past this place for years and today I decided to force a sweet tooth on my self and stop in for something anything that might jump out at me.First off it's vintage looking from the outside and OMG the inside just looks period correct looking from a place in time that is so far gone. This is so well done with wood floors, ceiling, counter and display cases it might be the original bones of the building. The soda counter has the old school fixed round stools and the soda counter is all in working condition. The employees are all in matching old school uniforms and the place is almost a living museum with all the working and displayed soda shop items, shake mixers, phones cash registers etc. This is so well done you actually feel like your experience is from 80 to 100 years ago, a super great job to who ever put all this together. The menu is about 5 pages of soda/ice cream shop items and what to have on my first visit took a few minutes to figure out. Phosphates in a float form was the winner because I have never had a real authentic soda before, a root beer float in english. The root beer soda doesn't come from a soda gun, bottle or a can because it's hand made to order for each order with syrup and soda water from the tap on the bar, no commercial chain crap here. I did the one scoop vinilla ice cream root beer float, you can get two scoops and it was actually not very sweet and and very enjoyable with lots of fizz sending it over the top of my glass. Wow this was really good and my lack of a sweet tooth almost kept me from a great experience.WOW this is a total destination stop and done very well which warrants my not so loosely given out 5 stars, you nailed it on nostalgia/blast from the past and thanks for the experience.

Don't expect speedy service but enjoy the atmosphere and friendly staff. Try the Bieber. Best are the shakes and malts.

What a little hidden gem, a nice trip back in time the moment you step into this ice cream parlor, from the squeaky wooden floors to the candy selection.Their menu is quite extensive and creative, I trusted the friendly recommendation of the man fully dressed in an attire that gave him an air of experience and knowledge behind the counter. I have to confessed I have never tried an ice cream soda and even though chocolate didn't pop up as my first option I went ahead and took his advice, needles to say I am a convert! a light chocolatey tasty drink refreshing enough to leave space to enjoy the nice surprise of finding a scoop of creamy chocolate ice cream at the bottom. If you are in the area don't miss the opportunity to visit, the detour will be worth it

This has been a tradition for years and years. So very good with some of the best ice cream sundaes I've ever had. The Italian soda fountain drinks and old fashioned candy selection keeps us coming back to reminisce of days gone by...

Wow! Take a step back in time at this general store and ice cream parlor. Truly a blast from the past! Must stop and visit. They serve genuine ice cream...not ice milk! Quite the variety of sundaes too many to mention. Real milk shakes and malts. And here you can get a real phosphates (a real soda that is served by a soda jerk) that is authentic down to the equipment. The ice cream is quality and there is a reason it taste so good. We've had their ice cream, sodas and floats. The store is a genuine hardwood floor building that looks to be 100 years old with a counter for fountain service and quaint booths with servers in uniforms unique to the era. In talking to the servers the equipment is difficult to service as parts are hard to come by. Want to see an early 20th century phone booth? There's one here. Juke box? Check! $3.95 for my two scope root beer float! Well worth it.

I love the old-fashioned vibes and the ice cream was delicious and the employees were wonderful and were even dressed up like old-fashioned soda fountain workers.
