The food was amazing, different selections of Mexican food and not a huge menu which makes it easy to decide. I tried the Chilaques Flight, you heard me they have a flight you choose 3 different sauces, one meat and the way you would like your eggs. It was huge! The bartender/waiter was so nice and the couple at the bar greeted us when we came in. Great atmosphere. I will be back to try something else soon.

A great New Mexican restaurant in West Allis.A nicely decorated- clean and modern looking. Nice bar to sit at as well.Staff super friendly. Holy Guacamole was so tasty. A nice helping- sometimes you order it and get a 1/4 cup.... Not here. Comes in the molcajete- smooth- yet chunky with avocado. Salsas with the chips are wonderful too. The peanut butter flavored one was surprisingly liked by our table. Tried tacos: veggie, steak, birria and carnitas.iced them all- but the birria was outstanding.Enchiladas- chicken was moist and tender. Rice and beans were flavorful. They have a Friday Mexican fish fry- will look forward to trying that out.For only being open a couple months- we are happy to have found them and visited.

This was our first visit and I don't think it will be our last. We sat at the bar and started with margs and chips. The chips were served with two sauces: Habanero salsa and a peanut arbol salsa. The peanut salsa had the perfect level of heat and was such a delicious surprise. Next we dove into tacos. These are street tacos so they are small. Two to three bites small. We tried the chicken, the steak and the birria. The steak and birria both were so darn tender and moist. No complaints on the chicken--it's just that the others were a level up on flavor and texture. We couldn't resist and decided to try a chicken enchilada- it comes topped with your choice of sauce and then garnished with crème, lettuce and tomato. It was unexpected and really good. We'll definitely come back, up our game and try the Chilaquiles and Molcajetes.

I enjoyed my dining experience at Las Cazuelas although I wanted the drinks to be stronger. I had two of them and didn't really feel much. The chilaquiles flight was easily my favorite item. I love the variety of sauces to choose from. The tacos were also good and are discounted on Thursdays. You should try the Molcajete Bowl. Separating the onions and cacti was a little difficult, but worth it. We had such a great waiter. He was funny and gave us good recommendations. They play really good music, too. I'm definitely going back, especially because they make breakfast all day.

This restaurant really cares about their food and the flavor. Everything is prepared with a depth of flavor and spice that keeps me coming back for more. I highly recommend their chicken tortilla soup if you want something wonderful and warm. Service is excellent.

Let me just start by saying that this is a long time worth coming. I worked next door to this location for almost 2 years, and Ive been anticipating for it to open. And by far, hands down, the BEST place to enjoy amazing food, a beautiful ambiance and scenery, and such great service. We walked in, was greeted, the music that was playing was amazing and nostalgic. The food was immaculate, and walking in first impressions seemed to be a very high end, reservation only, high priced eatery. I was surly fooled as the prices were very budget friendly. Stopped by with my partner to kill some time within the neighborhood, and we had an amazing meal, experience, and it only costed $40. We will definitely be coming by at least 2 times a month now. BEST TACOS IN MILWAUKEE!!!!!!

We visited Las Cazuelas on a Friday evening. Everything we ordered was delicious. The chimichangas appetizers was my favorite. The chimichanga itself was super crisp and flakey and it's filled with cheese and the meat of your choice. I already want to come back and reorder them. I also got 3 tacos ala carte. The tacos also were good and the meat had great flavor. My fiance ordered a steak burrito and after having a bite I also want to come back and order that as well. It was super creamy with the queso and crema. Good portions and fairly priced. There's a lot of tvs through the restaurant with The Bucks playing, so if you're trying to find a place to watch a game this could be it. I didn't order a drink but the bar looked well stocked and the drink menu was intriguing. The waitstaff were all super friendly. We will definitely be back.

Horrible service, mediocre food. Horchata was watered down. Burrito was too damn small to be $18. The taco truck would never do me like that. Multiple guests at tables walked out without ordering or getting their food bc they took so long. Only good thing was the strawberry margarita and salsa.
