Homemade desserts - like Raspberry freddo
Deep fried perch
Grilled garlic walleye
Beer battered haddock
Blackened catfish
Golden shrimp
Poor man's lobster
My daughter and I enjoyed the crunchy mozzarella sticks. In the back of the basket were the transcendent sweet potato fries.
12-ounce prime rib
Bourbon old fashioned
Nachos with grilled chicken. Not a fan of cheese whiz on my nachos.

Food was OK. Seated at 5:30 - ordered right away. (We all ordered the fish fry - nothing fancy. nothing extra). 6:30 waitress had no idea when our food would be served. At 7, we finally (had to ask) for a snack - and all she could offer was some dry rye bread. At 7:15 she (finally, did offer another round of drinks. Which, the sodas already came with free refills). Just what our pregnant guest needed. We finally got our food at 7:20. We won't go back.(Oh, in addition to the unacceptable service) - those who ordered potato salad were disappointed - while the quality was good, the portion was so tiny, we remarked, oh, this must be a sample of what their potato salad would be if they gave you a regular portion.

Let me begin by saying that $16.99 for prime rib is not terrible, but sometimes a $16.99 prime rib disappoints. As I continue to learn more about butchery and cooking, I more often than not find myself disappointed with restaurant fare - especially at a value price point.Prime rib starts with an excellent rib roast. That rib roast should have four distinct muscles. In inferior cuts of meat, these muscles get separated by sinewy, hard fat rather than thin fat that renders during the cooking process. This is super-important in prime rib because each of those muscles can sit at a different angle, changing the chew mid-steak. Also in inferior cuts, the ribeye cap - or spinalis dorsi - consists mostly of fat. In good cuts that cap if the best part of the prime rib. That did not happen here. The steak was OK as far as tenderness, but not great. It's actually such a small piece of meat that it really needs the bread and salad they do not serve just in order to leave feeling full. The fat and sinew between the individual muscles did not render well, and even the soft fat was inedible. I have eaten prime rib where I ate every single piece of that steak put on my plate. Here, I had to essentially cut out the heart of the ribeye (longissimus dorsi) and eat that alone. My wife reminded me that it was affordable. In the future, if the goal is affordable I'll just have drinks.

We're happy they're back open! We picked up fried perch, poorman's and pan fried walleye curbside. It was hot and delicious as always. You can order days ahead or hours ahead and it's delivered to your car with a smile.

The sweet potato fries are a hole-in-one while the nachos barely saved par. Overall, my experience at Langford's Pub (formerly known at the Caddyshack) was favorable. The restaurant shares a building with the pro shop for the Golf Courses of Lawsonia. At first glance, it's your typical sport bar and grill with the Golf Channel on the flat screens and the walls loaded with golf paraphernalia. It's clean, well lit and with some exceptions, the food was better than expected. Our group was famished after competing in the Muddy Marquette Mud Run earlier that morning. The freshly prepared, sweet potato fries we ordered as an appetizer were a revelation. Served piping hot, they were well seasoned: crispy on the exterior and bursting with natural sweetness. I would come back for those fries in a heartbeat the next time I'm in the area. I also enjoyed the crunchy mozzarella sticks from the appetizer menu. Like Charlie Brown fruitlessly trying to kick the football, I seem to set myself up for failure my repeatedly ordering restaurant nachos, only to be disappointed in what I receive. Sadly, this was no exception. Instead of using shredded cheese, Langford's Pub slathered their nachos in a Cheese Whiz like substance, giving the nachos a less-than natural flavor and a soggy interior. The less-than-fresh tri-color chips were bland and not very crunchy. I did enjoy the well-seasoned, grilled chicken, a healthy dose of pickled jalapenos and the fresh tomatoes. If they upgraded the cheese and chips, this could be a decent option for nachos. My daughter loved her cheese pizza, covered with real mozzarella cheese and decent crust for a sports bar.Our server was efficient and courteous, refilling our beverages and checking in often. When I reminded her that she forgot the sour cream and salsa with my nachos, I immediately brought them to our table. She also changed the channel on the closest flat screen to the World Cup game between Brazil and Chile for us. And after finishing our meal, the manager checked in with us to see how we liked our meal. If you're looking for a casual dining option while visiting Green Lake, give Langford's Pub a shot. They also serve a Friday Fish Fry during the spring and summer

Beat fish fry around! I had the walleye, which I had never tried before, and it's now my favorite. I'm also a huge fan of the sweet potato fries. I honestly couldn't stop staring out the window when I ate here as the view of the course is wonderful. Great atmosphere, I highly recommend you give it a try.

Great place to have a few beers after a round of golf at Lawsonia. Large U shaped bar with two moderately sized big screen TV's. Bartenders were friendly and accommodating. Didn't grab a meal but the crowd for the Friday Fish Fry just kept on growing which is a good sign. Place was clean with a nice deck and views of the Links course.

Enjoyed breakfast here before a round at Lawsonia Links and then a few drinks at the bar after the round. Food and service was great and nice way to start and finish our day.
