This "hole in the wall" bar is a must stop. I love visiting bars like this because of the community they provide. I was welcomed by the locals and had great conversation through my visit. The area is out in the country and can be tricky to find in Google maps. Once I arrived, there was plenty of street parking as well as a lot in the back The inside was charming with a vintage vibe. Drinks were strong and their menu is lengthy. I ordered a cup of the soup which was styled after the Reuben sandwich. The corned beef was excellent. The soup is creamy and flavorful. I have tried to stop by again but they are only open Tuesday through Thursday. I wish I had checked the menu it because the reviews online show a fish fry but I'm not sure if that's available daily since they're closed on Friday? I hope you find out soon!

Finally got in here. Wanted to go here for a while. Fish fry is great. Are at the bar and had lovely service. The old fashions were awesome ( not weak) and the fish fries we got were great too. Love the charming Wisconsin feel to the place. We will be coming back.

Delicious and decently sized fish fry. Casual, friendly service. Passionate hostess greets you from the bar area. Parking can be a challenge. But the food and small town atmosphere is really worth it.

This is the old school tavern in rural area where you go for an old school Friday fish fry. Otherwise they have fried chicken and more typical pub fare. The beer battered haddock fish fry was good, yet heavy. It included thee larger than expected fillets, home made coleslaw, apple sauce, and choice of fries or home made potato pancakes. I opted for the potato pancakes which is almost always a good call. We arrived at 4:45 on a Friday and had a long wait. The bar has about six beers on tap, almost all mainstream beers. They have a few rotating microbrews, so this is not e place to go if that is what you are after. This is the place to go for brandy old fashions. The service was friendly and efficient..

When scheduling a fish fry with the in-laws, it was probably a good idea to take into account the beginning of lent... we showed up there shortly after 5:30 and the wait was ~1.5 hours so, instead of impersonating sardines, we went across the street for drinks. When we returned, it was far less crowded but it was immediately evident the previous swarm of people already had their affect on the servers running around in the bar area; their courtesy and politeness while trying to squeeze by was long gone.Luckily our server in the small, rustic dining room was excellent! ...but no Cod! I had the Haddock instead which was heavily breaded and moderately greasy. The food was alright. The people (regulars) sitting at the bar while we went for another drink we're very nice.

Amazing place, if you love a classic Wisconsin supper club i highly recommend this place. Went for a Friday fish fry, clam chowder was delicious, beer batter haddock was really good. If you want a desert, make sure to order/reserve it before you get your food. They run out, if you want it make sure you let them know.

Love the vibe at this local hangout. Friday fish fry is their big night. Expect to wait but enjoy the cocktails and reminisce about how wonderful it is to still have a gem like this. Portions are substantial 〰 wait staff exceptional. Have tried most of the fish options and I have settled on the breaded perch fry which is lighter than beer batter. Yummy

The Landmark is a specialPlace. Great food. I love the salmon salad. My wife loves the fried chicken. Specials every night. Family run. Cozy. Rustic. Christopher's Friday night fish fry is the best around. Amy and Kelly will take care of you. Tell them you are a friend of Gary and you might even get a free drink.

I had the breaded perch. Three little and I mean little perch. A small cup of coleslaw. That was tasty, if only there had been more. Two slices of marble rye with a very thin spread of imatation butter on one slice. The fries were good.We went for lunch. I'm 83 years old and a small eater. I was still hungry when I was done with my fish fry. $15.00 , I could have bought a frozen T V dinner and had more food. Ohh, and the fish had no flavor. My friend had the Haddock and said she wouldn't go back. She felt bad because she suggested going there. We all make mistakes. Find another place for a fish fry, there are plenty. The waitress was not friendly , but did her job.Sorry, will not recommend or return.
