Their store was clean, organized and had a great selection of items. I found exactly what I wanted in making my own gift boxes of Wisconsin cheeses for multiple old friends on our road trip around the Midwest. They loved them!

Great dairy with local cheeses, meats and other foods. I loveee the local ice cream there. I got way too many dairy products for a sane person but when in Rome..Their chocolate milk is bomb. Support local!

Great Ice Cream. They sell other brands of cheese so watch out. Not all products are "theirs" but I have not purchased anything I didn't enjoy. Again, the ice cream is wonderful.

Expired cheese left out for poor unsuspecting cheddarphiles to purchase and waste money! Otherwise nice place to buy Wisconsin shot glasses and or u can get homemade bag of curds for $5.50. I would just fill up on their free curd samples.

Around Thanksgiving my Dad mentioned to me that he wanted to try Lamers chocolate milk a glass jar. What are you talking about Dad? Little did I know about Lamers Dairy being in Appleton. My folks live in Madison so this is not something they would get for themselves. I decided this would make a great Christmas gift for my Dad.Walking into the store was a magical dairy land! The store is filled with coolers of milk and every kind of cheese possible. I got myself some swiss cheese spread that was fantastic. I wish I bought a bigger container. They even had blocks of cheese in different shapes like the state of Wisconsin, a big W for Wisconsin Badgers, and of course a Packers helmet. Of course when you buy cheese, you need to buy sausage and there's a variety of sausages to choose from. Onward to my quest for milk. You can buy their milk in plastic containers just like at a grocery store. The prices are pretty comparable with the major big brands, which is great because I would rather buy some a little more local to the area. You can buy milk in a glass bottle and what they do is they charge you a $1.50 for the bottle. Once you finish your milk you can either keep it or return it and get you $1.50 back. Pretty neat system actually. I bet it gets people to return and buy more milk in the glass jar. My Dad was very happy with his present and we all got try some chocolate milk, and it was smooth and creamy and didn't taste like it was filled with sugar. I'm totally willing to make the trip down there for the milk.

Love milk in bottles! A bit more expensive but it tastes better and it's better for the environment. The store is also very charming.
