I have loved the cookies from day one. The storefront is adorable. It's amazing how good the miscellaneous desserts are.

Just the cutest store!! If you are looking for nice, well made and long lasting party supplies come to Lakeside Cookie! Was in awe of the products they stock. They also sell adorable decorated cookies for humans and dogs, and also have some yummy looking ice cream cookie sandwiches.

What a great little cookie shop! It seems to be a mix of bakery, kitchen supplies retail and classroom. I heard a lot of people laughing and having fun so it drew me in. It is an adorable small storefront shop that looks a bit vintage mixed with high tech. The bakery case was filled with the most adorable seasonal cookies. Snowmen, winter sweaters etc. There was also a nice selection of homemade other treats. My friend tried an interesting cookie called The Dumpster Fire. If you have a sweet tooth - this is the place for you!The owners were so fun and friendly. They were assisted a few people but never rushed. They were happy to answers all the questions we had. Since I don't bake, I was very curious about all the tools and gadgets they had.The options were endless. They had cute kits for a baking project with your kids. There was a fantastic variety of cookie cutters etc. The choices in sprinkles and accessories were endless. It almost made me want to start baking! You could pick up a great gift for someone who likes to bake or a nice little treat for friends or for yourself.

Happened upon this delightful cookie place on our way to taste some wine. The cookies were insane--there's something for every palate. We got the Dumpster Fire and Chocolate Chunk and both were delectable. We thought we'd take a bite each and save the rest for later, but we couldn't stop eating and finished them both within minutes. The owner (assuming he was the owner) was lovely.

Stopped in this weekend to try a couple of cookies. I was so disappointed they tasted like playdoe. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Tried the snickerdoodle and the triple chocolate. They should give out free samples therefore I wouldn't have wasted the money. If I could do it over again I would have avoided this place

I was disappointed in both of my selections today. The Positive:The art work on the decorated sugar cookies is nicely done. The Negative:The seal on the plastic bag of the decorated sugar cookie I purchased was completely open, so my shamrock cookie was hard and brittle. I would've liked for the associate to have noticed this, when bagging that cookie. I could taste vanilla, which I appreciated, but overall, it was an "empty," forgettable experience. The "Killer Brownie" was very average. It lacked depth of flavor. Another empty, forgettable experience, like the decorated sugar cookie.Reading the ingredients, it was clear why the brownie had no depth of flavor. For starters, sugar is the first ingredient in the list of ingredients--not flour, not dark chocolate, not cocoa--and the brownie features palm oil as its primary fat, not any butter whatsoever.Incidentally, I looked at all of the other cookies in the case that were not sugar cookies--the chocolate chip, the dumpster cookie, etc. They all feature too much "spread" and they don't feature any significant browning. They look pale and dusty/grainy; not browned and buttery/luscious.Browning/caramelization/Maillard reaction is critical for depth of flavor, as is fat.The brownie was $4 and the stale decorated sugar cookie was $5.Considering the price, these are not great recipes, this is not great baking. The sugar cookies are pretty to look at, but that's really the only positive I experienced today at Lakeside Cookie Co.Disappointed, for sure.
