Lake's Pancake House

Food and service was remarkable. Lately its been hard to find a good service. but this place made it possible again. I highly recommended it

I am glad we decided to stop in for breakfast. This was our first trip to Lake's Pancake House and we are definitely planning to return. The staff are friendly and provide great suggestions. Even though the restaurant was full, service was great and the food came out fairly quickly.I had the avocado skillet. It was a delicious combination of tomato, bacon, pepper jack cheese, and hash browns with slices of avocado. The over medium eggs were prepared nicely with a wonderful runny yolk. I chose the side of pancakes. They were two and they were flavorful and fluffy. I added a side of sausage gravy. The gravy was a bit thinner than most gravies and I like that it wasn't heavy.It was a delicious meal, and I want to try more of the menu, like their crepes!

Small diner with surprisingly well made dishes. Prices are pretty normal for where we are at. Kids meal was pretty small but also less than $6. California omelette was tasty - good amount of avocado, bacon, and cheese. Pancakes were ok. Stuffed biscuit was really good and had a lot of filling. Service was really the standout - super friendly and attentive, quick service. We'll be back.

Food so-so. Prices so-so. Service terrible. Grabbing the check before I'm finished writing it is absurd. Me having to flag you down for help is bad.

I absolutely love the Rice pudding crepes. They are delicious and settled my stomach when I wasn't feeling well. The owners are extremely accommodating. I usually get take out from them because they are so busy. I have also had their eggs Benedict and the Farmer's skillet with the corned beef hash. Every meal has been a wonderful experience and I return every time I am in Antioch.

Staff is friendly and they all seem to enjoy working here. I really enjoyed the Swedish Crepe special. Hopefully they'll add it to the regular menu. I've also had their tacos for lunch and enjoyed them as well. Great spot in Antioch.

Food is always very good. We have always had friendly fast service here. Cant ask for better. Highly recommended.

Best spot for breakfast!! Lake's has been on weekly rotation for us since we moved to town. We've eaten our way around the menu and have landed on a few favorites we keep coming back for. The service is great, the kitchen is quick, and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommend.

We stopped there on the way back from Wisconsin to Chicago. I love diners and this place was great I had breakfast which was great service wonderful I would recommend this five star diner and reasonable prices. If I lived in the area I would probably be there daily. Five stars from a city girl

Customer service was good but stake tasted off like it had spoiled or was starting to. stomach became ill And had the runs.
