Lakehouse Breakfast Bar and Grill

We stopped by here after I dropped my teen off at Alpine Valley. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast/brunch comparable to a popular higher end breakfast restaurant in the Chicago burbs. The pancakes were the highlight. I suggest having with chocolate chips. It was sweet and decadent. We were served by a well mannered young man who was great with my kid.

This is an Awesome Sunday Brunch. The Saturday prime rib is the best in the area.Staff super fun and creative. A very rustic atmosphere. If you don't make it out here you are missing out.

We had dinner here with friends late on a Saturday evening. The burgers were great and the onion rings were fabulous. We also had drinks and they were perfectly mixed. There's some road construction which seemed to scare customers off but they were open. I highly recommend that you stop in. Such nice people.

Great burger but I had my credit card hacked there on Saturday, Feb. 3rd. My friend and I had a burger and a couple beers each. 10 minutes after leaving the restaurant my credit card company texted me that 6,500 has been charged to my credit card. Not sure how that happened but beware! Lakehouse, you need to get credit card devices that you can verify payment at the customer's table to avoid this situation.

Visited there for the first time. Food was great and our server was very attentive. I had the patty melt, and my wife had Philly cheese steak. Fries were great too.

LAKEHOUSE BAR & GRILL (Elkhorn, Wi)I would like to share our experience at lake house bar and grill in Elkhorn... we ordered 2 adult meals that on menu are 12.95 with a 4$ up charge for chicken, then ordered cheese sticks for 8$ and a kids meal for a few bucks. Ended up getting charged 72$ for the whole dinner the charged us 21.45 for each adult meal and 12$ for the apatizer without telling us. Not that I don't mind paying for my food. But changing the prices from what's on the menu isn't ok with me especially when everything's like 4$ more expensive and it adds up quick. And when I got up and grabbed a menu to compare to the bill, the waiter then showed us the very small print on bottom of menu that said "prices can change" then carried on to talk shit in kitchen about how we were surprised on total cost and price change while we could hear them. In total paying 85$ for 2 adults and a kid for a simple week day dinner... at that point I would rather have gone to a steak house than just noodles and chicken.

I have eaten at the lakehouse several times recently. The food is unbeatable!. The roast chicken was my favorite.The bartenders and servers were the best! It is a shame that the other restaurants in Elkhorn are way down in service. So, I'm telling you "go to lake house,you won't be sorry.

Food I always great. Ordered a bloody Mary with lunch. Got the bill. It was $16!! More than my lunch cost. If this was Chicago or Milwaukee or a bar with ambiance, maybe. Waitress said it was all the extra stuff in the bloody Mary. Didn't see any gold nuggets in there!

Went for breakfast. Excellent food for the three of us dining. Husband and I ordered a Bloody Mary. The bloody was so thick and had a TON of chopped garlic and horse radish. Now I love garlic and horse radish, but there were so many chunks in the bloody it clogged my straw. We couldn't finish even half of it. Then the bill came and we learned they cost $17 EACH. The giant Trump pic at the entrance way was also quite alarming.

Phew! My taste buds have been blessed of late, conflicting across several different restaurants in the Southern Wisconsin region. I will say, the right hook from the burger i ate today sure did drop the patty i indulged yesterday. The food north of the Illinois border is sure living up to the states well renowned fishing, and that's for true! Today I visited Lakehouse Breakfast Bar and Grill in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. I believe this place is new, and boy oh boy was I pleasantly surprised! The joy after i revived my food was through the roof, but the vibes before were all but high a couple minutes prior. Lost is an understatement. After receiving bad directions from a man we trusted dear, we were clueless as to where was where. Running on an empty stomach is like running a car without gas, you cannot move. When we ran into this place, it felt as though a light had picked me up off my feet, saving me from the inevitable death i knew was upon me. The young waitress made this whole trip to the Lakehouse. I never caught her name, but her infectious smile lit up our faces, lifting out any negative energy placed from the previous hour. I gave this place a big 4 STARS. Like a said, the burger today was prime TYSON. One of the better burgers i've tried in the past half year. Fries were a nice addition, but the coleslaw, like a race car, threw me off track. Not perfect, but they're new! I'll of course give them the benefit of the doubt. Give this a try if you're looking to live a little!
