Lake Ripley Family Restaurant

First time visiting. Had cod fish fry and pan fried walleye. No skimping on quantity or quality. Both were excellent. The deep fried breading did not overpower the fish nor was it overly seasoned or salty. The chicken gravy on mashed potatoes was some of the best I've tasted. Food served hot! Prices very reasonable. All staff friendly and helpful. Typical family restaurant setting with booths and tables. My sister has eaten breakfast and says breakfast is also very good. Hours are 6:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m. except open until 8:00 pm Friday.

We've had breakfast many times at this restaurant and always enjoyed it, but went back for their Friday fish fry recently and were wowed! They have some of the best fried fish I've ever had, and the service was equally stellar.

Best place in town! All the locals frequent the truly 'family' restaurant. Home-made Soups, Pies, Daily Specials, etc Excellent staff and service.

Fantastic food at an amazing price! Service was fantastic with everyone willing to step in! Gladly coming here again. Clean spacious and simple the way it should be!

We used Yelp, of course, to find this lovely little restaurant. Totally worth going 10-15 min off the highway.They were quite busy when we came in on a late Sunday morning, but the waitress, if I remember correctly Sherry, said she'd be right with us.I ordered their special that came with cinnamon roll French toast with eggs and hash browns. All very good. I could've ordered a second order of the toast it was so good.The bill was a little below average for a lovely small town breakfast.Hope you enjoy!

Went here on a Saturday for lunch. The place was pretty busy. Everyone there seemed to know each other. We ordered the veggie omelet and the hobo skillet. Both were good. The veggie omelet was packed with mushrooms, tomatoes and peppers, which was much appreciated. They were both also large portions which was great to have leftovers for the next day!

What a pleasant find in the Lake Ripley area. Menu filled with good homemade cooking options, big helpings of tasty food and great service. What I call a "yelper's delight". Free street parking available most days, as well as on-site.

We stopped by for a quick breakfast. The food was very good, great presentation and very clean. Crisp hash browns and American fries. The food was not greasy at all. The staff were excellent. Very friendly and nice. They all made us feel welcome! Be sure to stop by and enjoy a wonderful meal.

Didn't have a meal here just a pepsi but I was in dire straits with a dead phone and no way to get back to Jefferson! Nice lady behind the counter charged my phone for me, tried to get an uber and none were in the area so I was stranded. Was debating taking a 100+ dollar taxi or walking 4 hrs lol. Figured I might as well ask if anyone in the restaurant could give me a ride. (I think) the owners very kind son offered and I made it safely back to Jefferson! He refused to take any money for the ride. Gained some faith in humanity today! So, definitely stop by for the friendly service :) I'm sure the food is great too! I'll have to stop in sometime and repay the kindness. Thank you guys!!!

Excellent food and service. Very fair prices! My new favorite place for breakfast and lunch.
