A great go to spot for donuts. Lake Mills Market has a nice little bakery with freshly made donuts. They are always themed depending on the time of year/holiday. The space is clean and offers a nice variety of cakes, baked goods, and treats.

Friendly staff, decent selection especially for a small town market. Produce is commonly well past fresh (and high priced), sushi is good most of the time, but have had multiple bad experiences, too, fish was NOT fresh. Also, you REALLY need to keep an eye on the posted/advertised price versus what you're charged, I've been grossly overcharged on some things (cabbage, on St. Patrick's day) advertised at $.59/lb, charged $3.99/lb. Several more that I've caught, I wonder how many I've missed. I use Lake Mills Market if I need something immediately, but choose other markets when I can.

On two separate occasions recently, they would not honor a posted price. On both occasions I was told that the price was no longer valid and the employees must have forgotten to take the sale price sticker down. That is a terrible business practice. Honor your posted prices!!!!

Lori L. suggested this place for cheese. Sure it's a hour away, but it was well worth the trip! It's a cute little market with all the basics as well as a deli with ready to eat food. The cherse was by the dairy. I got a huge brick of mozarella for $12 and a huge bag of cheddar for $9.99. They also had a huge selection of homemade brats.

The Lake Mills Market is an awesome grocery store which offers loads of variety, great fresh meats, produce, liquor and more. Rarely do I not find what I need or want. They also have some great specialty and seasonal items.

Nice clean grocery store and decent prices. We were able to find what we were looking for to eat lunch by the lake.

Great atmosphere and layout of a grocery store! The staff is always offering to help me locate items. There is rarely a line at the checkout unless it's a football Sunday.

The Lake Mills Market WAS Jefferson County's best grocery store until December, 2021 when it was sold to Hometown Grocers, a subsidiary of Festival Foods. The changes began gradually and six months later, there is less organic produce, the deli unfortunately is now on a par with other grocery stores in the area (save for the sushi bar), and the same can be said of both the bakery and cheese counter. In addition, some items have disappeared, perhaps for good. We purchased a good quality Greek olive oil the store stocked for years, purchased duck on a regular basis, and frequently purchased Siggi's yogurt--all are no longer stocked. The same is true for many other items that were simply unavailable elsewhere. Looks like we'll be shopping elsewhere as well.

I usually do most of my shopping here but this past visit I was with a friend and not my boyfriend but the cashier for selfscan stood there staring at us making me very uncomfortable not to mention I'm already in pain on a cart and sick also all I wanted to do was go home he was helpful when I needed it but surely couldn't of been any ruder as if to think I would steal anything I had 300$ for groceries I was just picking up a few things

PLEASE DON'T SHOP HEREAccused me of stealing.Consistently over-charge me. Here's my story:Been shopping here regularly for about 8 months, 2 or 3 times a week. Over that time, I've spent thousands of dollars here. The cashiers have over-charged me multiple times. Inconvenienced. Further, if and when I return to customer service, to point out the error, it seems they think I am lying. Here's the straw that broke the camel's back:I go in, and buy over $20 worth of sushi. I check out. Eat it there. I leave and begin walking home. I am chased down in the parking lot. "Are you gonna pay for that sushi?" I did, I say. I have the receipt to prove it. I have shopped here consistently for months, given them thousands of dollars. In return, they mistreat me frequently and accuse me of stealing. I am so offended and disrespected by some of the workers at this store.
