Really great quiche and customer service. The ambiance is a bit like a coffee shop, which is perfect. I would like to come back and try a few other things.

Grabbed a crumb pie here (Lake Shore berry I believe was the name) and it was AMAZING. I am not a huge traditional fruit pie fan, but I ate half the pie myself in 2 days.

So glad to find a bakery in the Lake Geneva area with gluten-free options! Their gluten-free options are in the freezer case as a take & bake, at least that's how it was when we visited in the off season of April (maybe they have some gluten-free options baked during the busier tourist season, I'm not sure). You can order ahead with 48-hours notice if you want a gluten-free option baked for you, or a custom order. In the freezer for take & bake they had some gluten-free: pies, loaf cakes, cookies, and quiche. We got a gluten-free Strawberry-Rhubarb Crumble Pie frozen and baked it at home. It was delicious! The guy at the counter was very helpful and friendly, too.

Great pies generally but the lemon meringue pie is amazing. Sadly, its special order with 48 hours notice required. It was so good im wishing i had another one!! I don't live in Lake Geneva. Im an hour away. Was there for my daughters wedding. I was aware of special order so i ordered a couple days before i was to arrive. Im glad i did. The pie had just the right level of tartness and sweetness and the meringue was light and fluffy and perfect. I should have taken a picture.

I tried the beef pot pie for the first time and was greatly disappointed. The filling was so salty that after 3 bites we gave up. Also, the beef was tough. For $28 dollars this left us wishing we bought a frozen pot pie from grocery store. We have tried other dessert pies before and most were good. But, we will never do savory again. The last one ended up in the garbage.

Stopped by here on Saturday while I was out in the area. Had lots of people in it, so I thought it must be pretty popular. Went in with the intention of getting two pies, a chocolate pie and a banana cream pie. We pretty quickly found a French Silk pie in the freezer, if done well this is one of the best pies in existence. Wasn't able to find a banana cream pie though even though it lists they have it on their website. Got in line and was a bit confused to see pets wandering around in the store. Considering this is an establishment that sells food, I am not sure if this meets health code or not. Get to the front of the line and ask the girl if we could also have a banana cream pie. I was asked how many pieces I wanted, told her an entire pie. She told me they didn't have banana cream as a full pie, could only buy slices. Told her we would pass on the banana cream, would just take the French silk. She told me at that point the French silk pie would be $50. I was a bit taken aback and asked why it was so expensive. Here is when the entire experience really went down hill for me..I was told "French Silk is a very difficult pie to make and not many people know how to many them any longer. This is why it costs so much" I make French silk pies all the time, I have been making them for decades. They are one of the easiest pies to make, anyone telling you they are difficult is not being truthful. Curious about this incredibly labor intensive pie by Lake Geneva Pie Company I bought one. Got it home and gave it a try, a few things for people to be aware of.- What they are selling as a French silk pie, tastes more like a chocolate pudding pie. No way near as decadent or rich as a pie like this should taste. - No salt has been added to this recipe, it is way to sweet, definitely not what I would expect from a French silk pie.- They use graham cracker crust, very strange choice for this type of pie.- This is not worth $50Anyone interested in a French silk pie that they can make for under $10-$15 I have included my favorite recipe below. Do yourselves a favor, don't pay $50 for a pie you can make much better at home yourself. Shame on Lake Geneva Pie company for trying deceive their customers claiming French Silk is a super difficult pie to make.French Silk Pie Recipe- 1 Cup salted butter- 1 1/2 cups sugar- 2 Ounces of unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled- 2 Teaspoons of vanilla extract (preferably real vanilla extract w/ bourbon)- 4 EggsWhipped Cream- 1 Cup heavy cream- Teaspoon powdered sugar- 1/4 teaspoon salt- Vanilla extract to tastePie Directions:Make or bake a pie crust, or take the easy way out and use graham crackers as a crust. Beat sugar & butter until sugar is not grainy (this works easiest with ultra fine cane sugar). Add chocolate & vanilla and mix together. Add eggs, two at a time, beating a couple of minutes after each addition. Pour into cooled pie crust. Chill 2 hours or until firm. Before serving, top with whipped cream and a little grated chocolate. Whipped Cream Directions:- Add all ingredients into a large bowl, beat until thick. Shouldn't take more than a couple of minutes.
