Lake City Social

Spent a weekend in Lake Geneva. I picked Lake City Social based on some yelp reviews so glad I chose this one. Everything about this night was great! My boyfriend was worried it would be too uppity based on the name, but everybody was in sweatshirts and jeans. It's not stuffy at all.Our server was very friendly and attentive but didn't hover. When we sat down, we found out it was five dollar old-fashioned night - so we definitely enjoyed that! We decided to try the fish fry. I got mine with the chopped salad. It was very much like the chopped salad at outback (which is one of my favorite salads in the world). My boyfriend got some kind of cinnamon cake for dessert, but I got a grasshopper and holy cow, was it amazing!

We had a late lunch at Lake City Social yesterday and everyone loved the food and service. I have to be honest and say that I really miss Sprecher, which had previously been in this location, but Lake City Social is an excellent replacement.Members of our group had fried cod, chicken sandwiches, Rueben sandwiches, and a variety of other entrees. Everyone was very happy with the food and drinks. The cod was nice and crispy and not in the least bit greasy. Hefeweizen beer was ordered and it was very good - not the banana/clove hefe you might often get, but more subtle in those flavors, but very good none the less.Service was attentive but not hovering. All in all we will be very happy to return here on our next visit to Lake Geneva.

Great spot! We've been here through every iteration of this place--Houlihan's, then Sprecher's, now Lake City Social--and this is our favorite of the bunch. There are a few reasons why I say that: I really like what they did with the interior decorating. It's always been a pretty dark and almost dingy kind of place but they've done a lot to brighten it up and make it more modern. The servers are great and the place is kept clean. Their menu has improved too, with updated choices seemingly every time we come. Their sweet potato tots are a very unique side that I don't see anybody else doing, and they're very yummy. I wish they had a few more healthy and/or non-dairy items on their menu, but this is Wisconsin after all, so I'm not surprised at that. They do a great burger, Rueben sandwich, and Mac and cheese varieties.

Came here 2 nights in a row because it just hit the spot. Valentine's Day specials were so flavourful and satisfying on a nice cold winter day. Love the marinara they use for the cheese curds, but not so much when it's used with a pasta. Steak and mushroom risotto and Pan seared Halibut had me smileing with every bite! At first I thought the Halibut was over done....but the sauces and jelly stuff it was paired with made it all come together. Service was great each time we went.

This spot has something for everyone on the menu! Our table loved the nachos! The service was great and the food was good.Though there is room for improvement when it comes to the flavor profile on food it is a great option for dining in the area. The ribs and chicken were cooked to perfection! Pro tip: the restaurant is connected to the hotel so the entrance can be tricky to find. We just followed the people (:

Relaxed atmosphere and nice ambiance. Great service. Food is good and prices are reasonable! We enjoyed everything. My mom's fish fry was left in a little too long/slightly burnt but she didn't mind it. Cheese curds were great! Smash Burger was good-messy and the beef needed seasoning but all the toppings were good.

Huge restaurant connected to a hotel . We stopped here on the way in town . Something here for everyone , everything was decorated beautifully , the server was friendly and food was great !

Excellent top quality food whatever way you want it. From fine dining to casual anytime of day! I don't know how we missed this place all these years but I'm glad we found it hiding in plain sight right in front of the Cove Hotel. While all the other places are packed, long wait times and rush you, Lake City Social is calm, quiet, spacious and enjoyable. All the food on the plates coming out to tables looked really good and were all generously portioned. We have a few pics for next time. Our server Lisa E. was so friendly and did a phenomenal job of making sure our order was correct, checked on us often and really did a great job. Excellent service! Appetizer: 1# Chicken wings - crispy outside, tender and sauced appropriately. Many sauces to choose from! The Nashville hot was a little hot and nice smoky taste. The Asian ginger was an exotic slightly sweet sauce with fresh cilantro garnish. Other sauce choices they have: bbq, buffalo, garlic parmesan, teriyaki & Jamaican jerk Entree: We ordered the Prime rib 14oz dinner (only served Wed&Sat after 4pm). Excellent prime cuts! Side salad is served in a chilled plate with poppyseed dressing. The Shrimp & corn chowder was creamy with nice flecks of vegetables. Sweet potato tots was a unique option vs the loaded baked potato. The Prime rib was amazing, cooked to perfection, generously portioned and best one we've had in a while. I'd definitely come back for this and everything else! This place has it all; Indoor & outdoor seating, full bar area with TV's, banquet accommodations, huge dining area, daily specials, parking and a 2 minute walk from the Riviera Fountain.

Started off our weekend trip to Lake Geneva by sitting at the bar and it didn't disappoint. Our bartender was nice and friendly - the drinks were great too! The restaurant and bar is very large so I could see this place getting packed and just a good vibe. The food was good and hit all the spots too! The sweet potato tots were sooo good and I loved my nachos!

Went with a large group. Food came out hot and staff was always checking in . If food and serviceWere this good in a large group cant wait to comeBack in a small group . Highly recommend!
