Stopped on way home to Milwaukee. And glad that we did. Lots of food, cheese, gifts, and merchandise. Great place if you are looking for a high quality food gift. Pleasant staff was very helpful. Will definitely stop back during warmer weather to check out the many outdoor spaces and activities.

Loved our visit here! A little bummed that we couldn't meet some baby goats (only on the weekends) but we got to see the really great set up and enjoy some lunch at the cafe. You order at the front and are given a buzzer so you can pick up your food. They have a bunch of snacks, drinks and cheese available as well. The cheese box was cute but we weren't woo hoo about all of them. Good way to sample some things. The roast beef sandwich was good - came hot which I wasn't expecting. Still good. The side salad with blood orange vinaigrette was AMAZING. Bought some honey goat cheese because of that salad.Everyone was nice and the area was open and welcoming. Loved the outdoor patio where we could watch some goats roam and snack. Can't wait to stop back!

What a nice place. The staff was super friendly when we showed up shortly after they opened on a Tuesday morning. They gave us the lay of the land and we then did the self guided tour of the manufacturing plant. We learned a bit about how goat cheese is made through this tour.We then walked around the grounds to see the goats and their beautiful greenhouse. The flower beds and landscaping of this quaint creamery are very nice. We bought a few of their goat cheeses in the shop and a grilled cheese sandwich to go. The sandwich for $12 was a bit disappointing compared to the great photo of one on the wall of the food counter. The bacon was anemic microwaved bacon not robust and crispy like the photo. Definitely it could have been better.Overall worth a detour.

I came for the baby goats and will come back for the baby goats, but I was in awe of what a lovely place this is. We had ice cream and sampled some cheese - both were delicious. They have a wide range of cheeses, beverages with and without alcohol, and apparel and housewares. You can walk around the grounds as see all the goats and farm animals. It's obvious that happy goats make the best cheese!

Baby goats to pet, delicious food, lots of cheese. What else do you really need?We found this place on a stroke of luck and came by just in time to pet some adorable baby goats! They are only 7-10 days old and love being pet. The woman running the petting was super knowledgeable and helpful which we definitely appreciated! It was so interesting to learn about the cycles of growth and breeding. We then stayed and got lunch (gourmet grilled cheese=yum) and some chevre to go. Everyone working was super kind and helpful, and we are definitely planning a return trip in the summer when more things are open!On an aside, they also do Christmas pictures with baby goats which is totally added to my bucket list!

Farm to table. Dine, shop, tour. This cute place to visit while in Lake Winnebago, Calumet County area. It was a fun local goat cheese creamery. We bought the goat cheese spread & our favorite was the truffle spread. The spreads were liked by many at a recent party, especially the truffle, which was very flavorful. You can even pet & visit the goats when on site. It's fun, clean, agri-business. You can even order fresh food & eat on site. There are many options at this creamery, even a neat greenhouse.

We attended the "ultimate cheese experience" as our first trip to LaClare Creamery. I just saw a Facebook add for it and decided to go. Lo and behold was I excited when I realized they were a goat farm that specializes in goat cheese! I'm very glad we arrived early for our event because we got to walk around and see the goats. Even got to pet the two I'm the front grazing area! As we waited for the event we sampled some icecream and cheeses down in the shop. The event itself was great! The co-owner who ran the class is incredibly knowledgeable and loved answering our questions. She also brought in their head cheese maker to talk us through the cheeses. For $30 we got 7 wine and cheese pairings which I think is a great value. Plus they had 3 door prizes and we ended up wining one of their cheeses to take home! After the class they stayed open late so we could purchase some cheese and treats to take home. Highly recommend this class and experience!

Neat fun place. Family operated.Great products and as a business trip for touring cheese places we got a very nice tour. Saw some goats, got some goat cuddles, tasted some very good goat cheese. It was pleasantly surprising and not at all as bad as some people say. It was quite good b/c it was fresh and made with fresh milk. They had lots of other cheeses available, and were very good!!

Such a cute creamery! Everytime we have been the creamery is not running however there have always been animals outside to view. The goats are so fun when they're walking up the tower. It looks like they have a ton of events with the goats that you can do which is fun. Cheese is great, food is good. It's very much a deli style meal, but it was good.
