La Trinidad Restaurant

For Harvard this Mexican place is okay, but in most other towns it would be mediocre most likely. It has a pretty authentic menu. La Trinidad is among the surprisingly many authentic Mexican places in town. How are there so many, who knows. This one had been known for bad service, but the food is capable of being good for the most part. Came at lunch and the place was empty. It should have been a sign. The inside is quite roomy and it all looked pretty clean though. Eventually another group came in. It's about $7 for a margarita. These come in a few flavors, including the lime, mango, and strawberry. Kind of weak for the price. The food turned out mostly okay for what it was. It's about $11 for the Vegetariano Burrito. This was filled with beans, cheese which I left off, lettuce, rice, and tomatoes. Good isn't quite the way to describe it, but it may be as good as it gets in this town because options are limited. It has a pretty big menu. There's of course the margaritas, and the burritos include one for vegetarians.

The aqua de limón was decent as well as the beans and rice, but the tacos lacked flavor, even with the different salsas there. Also I waited about 25 minutes for it on an empty evening which kinda surprised me.

They've come a long way. I went here 12 years ago and the service was SLOW. Food is excellent and service is great!

I have eaten there twice and the food is great! I've had the fajitas and the grilled fish, both dishes very good! The beer is ice cold too! Very nice staff, no mask required!!

Almost drove right past this hidden gem. Ordered some tortas that came out quick and fresh. Everything tasted so good that I had to order again a few days later.

Great food, great drinks, great service.Clean, nice atmosphere, just an all around great Mexican restaurant.

Ordered food on phone. They didn't even put my son's meal down or charge for it. I got taco dinner deluxe. They added onions. It's not even on the menu. The tacos were super dry and fell apart. The nachos with beans and cheese in Styrofoam was melted through and had holes in it. I'm guessing they microwaved it because the Styrofoam was all curvy and couldn't be closed, holes in it and fuzzy. The beans on the nachos were dried out. The green sauce had red pepper flakes in it. Never going there again. Wish I had a picture of the disgusting mess. No limes either.

Very good place to eat. Always has pesoli soup green is my favorite and boy it was good large pieces of chicken and not an over abundance of hominy

This restaurant is simply awful. Only 2 tables occupied and they sat a person who sounded like he had Covid next to us. The drinks were weak, the service was fair at best, and the food was terrible. It was poor quality and overcooked. The salsa had to be returned because it had a hair in it. The only redeeming quality was the refried beans, they were quite good. All in all, avoid if at all possible.

Chips was stale and cold. I felt way over priced on 2 plates, 2 beers, and 2 cans of coke. Because the menu (even tho is high price) I did the number and it was like $30 some odd dollars. Some how needed up leaving with a bill of almost $50.... Like no matter how much I looked at the menu. The numbers didn't add up one bit. Not like there was maybe 2 other people in the whole joint so I don't see how that mistake happen...The foods not that we'll season compared to your other average joe Americanized "Mexican Cuisine." The salsa was terrible on all sides....I mean I hate to be this means but I have no idea how they are open.... I just don't. Like everything here is just terrible the lighting was, the floor was dusty. The tables haven't been cleaned with a rag cause you can feel old chips when you run your arms across it.The chips are cold and stale which I don't even know why when it doesn't take long to fry them up fresh. They are made real densely. Salsa was bland. Drinks are over price especially since for a coke alone your buying by the can. The food is bare minimum expectations.... Sorry to say this but this is just the sad truth for me. It just seems like the owners don't take pride in their place.
