Good pizza served in a simple setting.For me, a great test for a pizza place is to try their plain cheese pizza. Nothing to distract you from the pizza itself. La Pizza Pizzeria passed the test admirably.I would definitely recommend here.

First time ordering, and I wasn't disappointed at all. We love all things pizza but don't like pizza chains. We just recently moved up here and wanted to try different pizza places and I think we just finds out favorite place. The flavor, was on point and left me wanting more. And the slices were huge.

The pizza here is a pizza dream come true. It's the best pizza I've had in years, especially the sausage. I'm from NY State and struggle to find really good, authentic NY style pizza in WI. I've finally found it. We've had friends and family try it and they all love it too. I'm devastated that it's closed for the summer.

Best slice of pizza in town. They have many topping options to choose from!! The employee there is always super kind and welcoming. He cares about the quality. If you're ever in whitewater I 100% recommended going. They're open super late which is also nice. My go to pizza place!

Wow, bennys got his stuff down. Got the chicken bacon ranch and let's just say, my socks got blow clean off. Talk about a trip to flavortown, I bite this pizza and instantly have to tell people about the gazoonga that this place has. Thank you Benny for changing my life and changing the definition of pizza as we know it

Not impressed. We ordered a large sausage to go and all I can say is that is was large. The pie was oily, too much sauce, with too much oregano. Here's the worst part, the Italian sausage looked like it was some pre-cooked crap that was shaved super thin like that lunch meat in the little packages, Buddig....UNBELIEVABLE ! Have you ever had a gyro with that pre-cooked, pre-sliced stuff, it's terrible. I grew up in Jersey, 30 miles from NY city and have never had, seen ,nor heard of SHAVED sausage anywhere, certainly not on pizza! We will not be going back.To the other reviewers that apparently think this place is great, all I can say is: 1. they know zip about pizza down there in the flat land south of WI (that's IL for you non-flat landers) ....they put the sauce on top of the cheese, need I say more #2. Philly has great cheese steak, not so much pizza. It's been a while since I've been back east but it ain't like this ! You don't forget what you grew up with.

Wrong name, but food is still great.Finally! A place that sells slices and is open late!! Not only do they have an incredibly logical owner, the food is great. My favorite slices have been the plain cheese, mushroom, and custom vegan (peppers, onions, olives, and broccoli).Let's face it folks - midwest pizza stinks. (yeah, I said it.) Having good pizza - floppy bottom, airy edge crust, and delicious sauce and toppings - in this little WI town is a dream that I never thought would come true. They have about 8 or so pies available for slices in the shop, and will make any pie for you on request. They threw a vegan pie together for me a few times and it was delicious.The slices are a little more expensive than what I'm accustomed to on the east coast, but I'm willing to pay for it. Plus, I'm delighted to support a business that can provide great food after midnight.
