La Michoacana Special

Nice clean place. I guess there's another one in the downtown area. This is kind of on the outskirts so try to go to this one because the owner was fantastic. I talk to him on the phone. He made me a beautiful tray of fruit. The prize is good he has savory foods And lots of different types of ice creams and bars. Plenty of parking highly recommend.

In Round Lake we're lucky enough to have three Michoacanas but this one next to Olandos is hands down the best of the three. Why?-Awesome customer service -Quick service -Everything is prepared without skimping -Fresh ingredients -Get samples of all ice creams (which you can get at the other ones but sometimes the employees at the other ones get kind of annoyed if you ask for more than a couple) If you're in Round Lake definitely stop by here to pick up some fresh ice cream, tortas, refreshers and more Mexican food creations.

If you want good treat and a family price and good service from the owners please I beg of you DO NOT go to this place. They are not only very expensive but I know for a fact how poorly the owners Jorge and Nancy treat their employers. Says a lot of the business when the owners mistreat their own raza! Save your money, time and family experience, go somewhere else anywhere else is better! ZERO STARS!

Name is misleading, this place is anything but special. I understand the things happening in the world right now, some places are doing it right and thriving while others just don't seem to get it. The pricing is higher than average for this type of place, the selection is below average and the service is ok. I went once and based on my experience I won't be returning. There are many other options to pick from that do it better and cheaper.

Went and got a yogurt de nuez (pecans) it is easily the best yogurt I have ever gotten from a michoacana. Please support this local business that offers the best quality

Wow! Friends told us about this place and we've been back three times in the last couple of weeks. We've had way too much ice cream over the years at the typical places(Baskin Robbins, Dairy Queen, etc.) that we should have been buying at this amazing place. They make all of the ice cream there on the premises every day! That's even more amazing when you see the incredible amount of options they have. Flavors like Ferraro Roché, butter pecan, all kinds of sorbets. Our favorites are amaretto (chocolate and cherry) and cheesecake. Crazy good!We don't speak Spanish but that is not a problem at all because of the amazing people that work there. They really want you to taste test different things that you can find the flavors you really like. The manager that we talked to each time we went in, Ingrid, is so great! She will explain any flavors and give great recommendations.Note: when you get scoops in a bowl they include whip cream, strawberry and chocolate drizzle, sprinkles, etc for free if you want. Do it, it's great.You will have a hard time giving your money to those other places after you've tried this ice cream.

If I could give them more than 5 stars I would! From the moment we walked in the girls were super nice and answered all our questions we had. The nachos which were really good and then Mexican corn then ice cream which everything was out of this world! Ingrid was very nice! This place was clean and all the ladies weren't just standing around talking they were keeping everything clean.

This is our go to ice cream shop! Our favorite flavors are limon/lime, or ferrero but everything is delicious. The service is great too! They'll let you sample any flavor. There's 10+ ice cream flavors and several sorbet/fruit flavors. They also have snacks, nachos, horchata, etc. but we just come for the ice cream Highly recommend!
