Not only the best michoacana in the area. The BEST ice cream place you will ever go. Everything tastes fresh. Once you go here you will never eat ice crean anywhere else again.

Five stars. The only thing that would make it better is if everything it offered were zero calories. The place was clean, the workers were friendly and awesome, and the fare was incredible. Highly recommended for the quality and variety ice creams and assorted related goodies. I have no affiliation with the place, owners, or workers. I'm just a highly satisfied customer.

They have so many flavors to choose from! The staff was very friendly and offered small spoon samples of many of their new flavors without me even having to ask! Needless to say, narrowing it down and making a choice was DIFFICULT! I decided on cajeta and tequila and was not disappointed! I've been to the Harvard location and always found that to be the best in comparison to other options like Woodstock michoacana and la Huerta (least favorite by far!) and I'm happy to say that the new mchenry location may be even better than Harvard due to all the unique varieties! Piña loca is next on my list of items to try :)
