La Guanajuato

In the back of this little Mexican market lies a few tables where they serve, bar none, the best, most authentic, Mexican food in a 20-mile radius. Simply fantastic, all home made, and priced right. Don't come here looking for Tex-Mex. In fact, don't come here at all because there isn't a lot of space to sit, you'll most certainly be back, and I don't want to wait on a table the next time we visit for dinner. :-)

This place never disappoints! Great authentic Mexican taste and awesome prices for the amount of food they serve! The chorizo tacos are amazing as well as the chicken enchiladas. This is a favorite for family takeout night.

Authentic Mexican food, great prices and they loaded the tacos with steak meat. Same with my wife's burrito. Staff was all smiles and quick on order and food. I'll be back, blows away the other places in town.

Great butcher shop, and authentic grocery and restaurant! Great Arrachera! Taco meat and seasoned pork is excellent!

Such a fun little shop to stop in for a bite to eat. It's what you'd expect from a Mexican taqueria in the back of a grocery store. I got the lunch special which was chips and salsa, 3 tacos, rice and beans...for only $6.08!!!!! You won't find a better deal. They also place 3 sauces on the table, spicy red, salsa verde and avocado/cilantro. All were very good as well, I liked the salsa verde the best. Food was delicious and staff was friendly and prompt.

Tacos are pretty good!! Service there is always great either at the restaurant, butcher's area or upfront; staff is friendly always making people feel like home

My family loves La Guanajuato. The people are friendly and the food is always fresh. You have to try the cactus salad but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu it's all delicious.

Stopped in for a few tacos as love love a store that has a carnecineria and taqueria. Service was nice and chicken, asada y chorizo, carnitas and chiccaron tacos. All will cilantro and onion. My favorite was the carnitas taco and it was tender and the house fresh red sauce was slightly sweet. Next I liked the chiccarones. They were in a spicy and salty green sauce. Wish some had been fried harder for some texture. But some pieces were gelatinous and unctuous and damn tasty. 5 tacos, 2 diets, a couple of liters of Topo Chico and la mineragua and bill with tip was 25. Will return. Sopes looked yummy and carne enjoy su jugo is on menu.

Tacos and burritos are excellent... Best taqueria and market! If you want authentic this is the place the locals frequent, eat in take out or make your own...

Ordered Chile Relies, and when it was brought to my table it looked strange. So I attempted to cut it with a knife it wouldn't cut. When I finally cut it open,it was black on the inside. The pepper was burnt to a crisp.
