Absolutely the best Mexican food around. Always great. Fast friendly service at all times. Fine in or take out.

The food is very good. The service at the restaurant is very friendly. The only reason I give them 4 stars is that when I try to call for takeout, it takes several tries to get through. Sometimes, I don't get through at all.

I'm a regular here (I live just 5 minutes from there) and their food has always been very good. Service is great even on the days that they are very busy. I also order takeout food from here almost weekly, especially on Tuesdays when they have their taco specials going and the tacos for takeout are less than $2.00 each. I will usually get 4-6 steak tacos on those days along with a tamale on the side and a refreshing Horchata to wash everything down. Why cook at home for myself when I can just come here to get my dinner and either eat inside or take my food home to eat. They also have a delicious taco dinner that comes with 3 tacos of your choice with a side of refried beans and some Spanish Rice. I've tried most of the food items on their menu and have never been disappointed. The prices are also very reasonable for the meal that you're getting. I would highly recommend them to anyone who happens to be in the area or reasonably close by.

I have never had huevos rancheros without any sauce, and without the option to have the eggs the way I prefer. It was the worst desayuno ever.

Picked up my order last Tuesday 10 minutes before I was supposed to. Straight home in TL my whole order was cold. Called and spoke with the manager he said he would pay me back for the order. I go back to La Casita same evening when I get there the manager asked for the food back.He didn't say that while on the phone or I would have taken it out of the trash can and brought it with me.Not another dime of my money to La Castia !

Went here yesterday for a carry out order. I had called first and received no answer, but when driving by, realized it was open.The good:-Al pastor meat has a cinnamon flavor too it and it's delightful. Very juicy and tender. (May not be for everyone though.)-Green Tamale was hardy. It was soft in the right places and contained a fair amount of meat. It's comparable to some of my favorite places in south side of Chicago. 100% recommend this.-Creamy red sauce knocked my socks off in the best of ways. Great flavor upfront with a slow burn that takes over your mouth.The OK:-Steak meat is almost like steak crumbles. My friend loved it. I prefer larger chunks. I suggest trying it though.-The chicken sopé I order had all the toppings, but was just ok. It seems like it was baked instead of fried so some of the fried crispy ness was missing.The bad:For me, I didn't think the chips were all that great. They tasted very similar to store bought tortilla chips which are still good, but a bit of a let down for authentic Mexican restaurant.Overall, I'd give their food a try. Their Fajitas looked and smelled great, so those might be up next.

It has been several years since I went here but since they were the only restaurant open on a Tuesday it was a no brainer. We went with 2 children and went earlier so there was no wait. They are a little short staffed and didn't have a hostess but it wasn't an issue. When we left there was a line of people so I think that this could be an issue later in the evening. We ordered mango margaritas (19 oz, $7.50) and they were delicious. I really like the mix they used. It didn't have that artificial sweetener taste at the end and the ice was mixed perfectly. The kids had lemonade and 7-up and I appreciate the lids on the cups! Moving on to the chips and salsa. It comes in a cute basket with 2 salsa on the end so everyone isn't fighting for the salsa. The salsa was wonderful. It is a runny version but tastes super fresh. The chips were a little cold but we managed to eat 2 baskets ;)It was Tuesday so they had 99 cent tacos (on everything but seafood). These are street size and do not include rice/beans. I had al pastor, barbacoa, beef, and carnitas. I choose Mexican style (cilantro and onions) but you can also get American Style (lettuce, onions, cheese). I enjoyed the tacos and thought the barbacoa was the best of the evening. They also brought out some tomatillo salsa which was very flavorful. My dining companion had a chicken burrito meal which was massive! The burrito flavors were great, filled with fillings, and hearty. It comes with beans and rice, sour cream, and guacamole. This was a massive meal and very much enjoyed. One kid had a hot dog and fries (we know, we know) and the portion was massive and she ate it all. The other had the kid's quesadilla. There was an option for meat but he wanted just cheese. It came with beans and rice. This is honestly the only portion that I thought was small. He devoured it and could have eaten another. I thought they could have used the larger burrito size tortillas. In addition, he is 5 and while we had been swimming/tubing all day it wasn't a large portion. I don't see how a 7 or 9 year old would be full after this meal. Overall a great dinner and would definitely go back.

Food is great and authentic. Quick and friendly service. Always a go to for tacos. Locally owned as well which is a plus.

Stopped in at 2 on a Saturday. I had the combo number 1 and all three items were great. Right in the center of town with a small lot and street parking available. The food was very good, try the pork.

We did carry-out on Thursday and I am so sorry that we did. The burritos that we got were absolutely the worst burritos that we have ever eaten!! They had no flavor whatsoever. Save your money and go some place else. I wish we had.
