Updated review:I have a great time every time I visit.Food is always fresh and amazing. Get the Breakfast Burger.... sure, it may raise your cholesterol levels for the day but just do it. YOLO! I had it and it was *perfection* I recommended it to everyone I was with and other patrons!!I've tried nearly all the apps and they are your typical "bar food" apps but they are very good and I have never had anything overly greasy or salty. Drink prices are fair, they have fun drink specials - see https://kingpinwestbend.com/bar_grill/bar_specials.htmlAnd karaoke on Saturday nights! Staff is always friendly and they are very attentive to cleaning. I highly recommend calling ahead and reserving a lane if you want to bowl. They have leagues every night of the week. Even on a Saturday at 7pm there are only 4-6 lanes open to the public.Definitely a fun time if you are in the area.

I would give this a negative star rating if I could. I was there this past Friday. We had a few drinks and appetizers while my boyfriend bowled with a team. We decided to take home a pizza as we had both missed dinner. To our surprise when we got home the pizza was burnt and we could not even bite into the pizza. Very expensive dinner for our dogs. I try to contact king pins without sucess. So I email them and again I did not get a response. Do NOT waste your money the service is terrible and the food is inedible.

Not family friendly. This place has a dedicated, enclosed smoking room with a door directly next to the lanes where they put all the families (i.e. non-league) bowlers. Two of the room's windows were barely cracked open, with what seemed like negative indoor pressure (felt the breeze of smoke) that sucked all the accumulated smoke into the building every time someone came in or out, which was frequent. My wife suffered an asthma attack but she didn't want to disappoint the kids, so we pressed on, hoping at least they would have fun. No dice, by the 6th frame, our kids were complaining about the smoke, and soon after, headaches, and begging us to go home. It's clear that they put a lot of work into constructing the enclosed smoking lounge, and they make sure the league bowlers don't have to sit in a cloud of smoke - they get to play at the far end of the building, and most of them were the smokers. To me, that's an obvious signal who the owners of this establishment DON'T VALUE - young families who just want to have a nice night out. That's your next generation of bowlers who will bring in tomorrow's league dollars, so by doing this, they're simply ensuring that they don't have a future customer base. Our kids really do like bowling, so next time, we'll be sure to skip the local place a mile from our house and head to other places where we know they know how to take care of families.

I came here for an afternoon work event. We bowled a few games, did a departmental raffle and also enjoyed soft drinks, pizza and appetizers. The service was A-OK but not sure if I will return if I had the option to visit a closer bowling alley. Overall, great selection of bowling balls and leagues.

Apart from being one of the most dirtiest places I've been too the big lady is one of the most rudest and the most racist persons that I have came across here in west bend I have been here for about 2 weeks now and this is the one got on my nerves her service was supper disgusting me and my group were having multiple problems with our lane and it seemed as her motivation to help us was not there . I COMPLETELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE IT WAS CLOSE TO WHERE IM STAYING SO THATS WHY I CAME BUT NEXT TIME I WILL NOT BOTHER TO DRIVE THE EXTRA 20 min to another location If I was able to give a no star review that would have been better . P.S to you big lady if you don't wanna work then don't and if you own the place because you were acting like it I hope this place shuts down . Thanks a lot for a shitty experience here in west bend you did great .!

Service was unexceptible , I didn't even receive my cheese bites. Nobody was at the counters for customer service. People were very rude when bringing out our food.

Not happy about my experience tonight. Got seated after wondering around the dining room looking for a spot to sit. Waitress was friendly and took drink order. After bringing drinks we asked for 1 minute to look at the menu. 15 minutes later we had finished our drinks and still hasn't see our waitress. At this point I was very irritated. When i approached the wait staff, their explanation was that they had a staff change and our waitress was leaving for the night. It appeared the staff was visiting with friends or family at the bar and they forgot about us. We left without eating, so I can't comment on the food. Our waitress was nice, and the prices looked reasonable but its unacceptable to be so disconnected to waiting customers that are hungry.

Well, to be honest, it's kinda a stinky, dingy old bar/bowling alley. Very dark, smelly and dated. Walk into the bar area and it smells like stale beer and perhaps remnants of when smoking was freely allowed? Time for a flooring/carpet change and paint job at the very least for sure!! BUT, if you can get past that (I'm sure a lot of people turn around) their food AND service is absolutely amazing! I'm both a pizza and burger fanatic-don't like greasy, unflavored, soggy pizza, with a sprinkle of cheese and seasonings on top, don't like wafer thin, overcooked burgers which seem to be super popular on the "East Coast" of Wisconsin. Being more of a deep-dish pizza fan from Madison (not sure why the "East Coast" of Wi is so into thin crust, but it is), well, it takes a lot to impress me-don't like cracker thin NOR 'foldable' slices, aka "NY style", nor do I like having every bite seem like I'm actually eating an italian spiced burger on a cracker-I like balance (most people probably disagree). They make their pizzas by hand (not 100% sure about the crust), but the cheese, sauce, toppings ( Sausage, Pepperoni, Ham, Bacon, Green Peppers, Mushrooms, Onions, Green Olives, Black Olives, Jalapeños, Tomatoes or Extra Cheese, how awesome of selection is THAT?-I'm a HUGE green olive fan, and not many places offer them as a topping anymore) and overall taste? fantastic!!'m quite sure even non-pizza fans are going to keep hoping there's at least one more piece left!! Come on, a 16" pizza for only $11.99 plus 1.75 for each additional topping? Sure, not as cheap as any chain, but 200x better tasting. As far as burgers and sandwiches: well, this is one of the 2 places in this area that actually 'hand-patties' (aka doesn't use frozen patties) to make their burgers, and you can order your burger done medium, medium rare, rare, etc (my fave). While my favorite burger is a Mushroom and Swiss, they've got quite a selection of burgers (and a separate menu for sandwiches). Here's from their burger menu:BURGERSAll our Fresh - never frozen 1/3# ground steak burgers are served with lettuce, tomato, raw or fried onions. Make it a basket for $1.25 - choose from Fries, Spicy Waffle Fries or Chippers Hamburger* - We grill our burger to capture all those wonderful flavors 1/3lb. Burger - 4.99 Mushroom Swiss Burger* - Grilled 1/3lb. hamburger topped with mushrooms and Swiss cheese - 5.99Here's one you might like (and be sure to check the price): The Montana Burger* - 1/3lb burger topped with ham, fried egg, lettuce, tomato, onion and cheese served on a toasted roll - 7.49Here's another example from their large selection;Chicken & Pig - Crispy chicken breast covered with Swiss cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayo. Served on a toasted roll - 7.99(Can you say "YUM"??) and, no stray hairs, no dirty silverware or dishes, which I've often had in much initially 'cleaner' looking establishments. Get past the stink/atmosphere, maybe order your item to go? no matter what, I doubt if you'd be disappointed in the actual food quality itself, selection, service and fair prices.

I enjoy going here for a bite to eat, especially during a Packer game. It's a fun atmosphere, food is nothing fancy but good enough.
