Kelly's Pot Pies & More - Greenfield

Hey, what's the difference between a large Kelly's Pot Pie and a professional trombone player? The Kelly's large Pot Pie can feed a family! A little musician humor there, don't be offended, some of my best friends are trombone players. Delicious home made pies, my favorites are the turkey, Aussie, vegetable pot pies and their quiche. I don't know why they call the smallest size a "hand" pie because you can't use just one hand to eat them. The family size pies will have leftovers with the standard size family. As is always the case with pies, the crust is most important and this is some good flaky buttery crust. I wish they had more fruit pies, but the name of the place does have "pot pie" right in the middle so maybe I'm asking too much. Specialty stores should stick to what they do best. A little pricey, but commensurate with the high quality.

I stopped here because it's something new that I noticed and I love new experiences and I wanted to get some exposure and pictures out about the place. Its core business is various pot pies flavors along with side items like sweets, cookies, sauces etc. They have a loyalty card with a free pot pie after 10 purchases which is probably a personal small one. I got the small personal beef pot pie at $12, frozen take and bake. The beef pot pie was really good with potatoes, carrots and peas with shredded pot roast beef in a nice thick gravy. Yah it was really good but is it three times dollar wise than the commercial store versions to justify the higher price so I think not so I can't justify being a regular customer at their price point when the the better store version satisfies me.Overall I really enjoyed the beef pot pie but I think that the $12 price point for a small personal pot pie is going to not go over well with the average customer so I wish them luck with this location.

What a great idea! Tasted almost exactly like my grandma's pot pies except their crust is actually flakier. Don't tell my grandma.

We ordered a turkey and a shepherds pot pie for a lunch party. Both were excellent and the two pies fed 6 people with leftovers. We ordered online and the pies were ready at the time we requested.
