When we're in the area, we try and visit. While most of the store is food related, I really like their rainbow dish cloths. Since we live far away, it's a bulk purchase when we're there. In addition, there are a variety of spices and hard to find herbs. And their homemade breads and sweets are delicious. They is a 3.7% surcharge for credit cards though.

I absolutely love this store. Never had anything but a good experience and Heather is always so helpful and pleasant. The products are always fresh and they make every effort to get you whatever you are in need of. Lots of great ideas when I'm not sure of how to use something new I might be trying and they are a great asset to our area. The fruit every summer is awesome. I especially love the Rainier cherries blueberries and peaches. YUM!!

Love this place for bulk ingredients as well as organic and gluten free options. They probably have every sprinkle color and decoration you can imagine. Their spice wall is at least 20ft long with every imaginable spice available. You can also get fresh baked breads, pies and desserts that vary depending on the day. If you don't see a bulk size of something you want, the wonderful owners are happy to go back and make you a special sized bag. I was happy when someone stepped in and bought the place from the retiring owners. We were afraid it was going to close.

Bought a jar of strawberry rhubarb jelly and when getting it home, it had mold in it. I went back to return it and the young girl acted like she wasn't going to take it back. She was very rude. Will not return.

was so pleased with my visit to the Kauffman Country Store! The handmade craft and fabric items were exquisite. Soaps and lotions, medicinal oils, greeting cards - something for everyone. Most of my purchases were grains, spices, and home made preserves, jams, and honeys. Everything was very clean, the atmosphere peaceful, and the staff extremely helpful and welcoming. There was also a wide variety of high quality kitchen utensils, as well as hand carved wooden cutting boards. Outside there were benches, tables and chairs, and sheds. I had expected superior workmanship, and I am so impressed with the variety and quality of their products and reasonable prices. I look forward to a long and pleasing relationship. A special thank you to Irene.

I stumbled upon this store driving back to Franklin, WI. Friendly. Some great products and prices. Chia seed price alone is almost worth the gas to go visit. Thank you!

I have been a patron to this place for a couple years now. This place is run by Mennonites (not to be confused with the Amish). They are knowledgeable and happy to assist with any questions. When I started going there, they carried a TON of different kinds of flours, including things like teff and almond flours. I used to REALLY enjoy being able to find things like that, as I cannot use wheat flour. Finding the alternatives that DON'T run me into financial ruin was a nice switch. (Ever try buying Bob's Red Mill brand? It ABSURD expensive. Disgusting what they charge for that crap. But anyway...) Unfortunately, about 8 months ago they discontinued carrying a good portion of their different flours. They have started leaning more toward Bob's notoriously-expensive- Red Mill brand now. They still carry all the regular flours such as different kinds of wheat, barley, rye and rice flour in bulk. They carry a marvelous supply of spices. Many many spices! You will mostly likely find what you are looking for including vanilla beans and genuine saffron threads. I have a few cabinets dedicated to spices, many of which came from this store, any kind of real cook will appreciate the variety they offer, as well as the reasonable prices they ask. You will NOT find a better price on quality spices than this store. Also, I should mention that if you find you need a larger amount than what is on the shelves, if they have it on hand they will fill a larger bag/container to fit your need. You just have to be patient as they go to the back to fill it for you. They also carry bulk pastas, beans, rice, soup mixes (some even gluten and/or MSG free!), dip mixes, nuts, cereals, candies, and baking supplies, nuts. Again, all VERY reasonably priced. Aside from seeing more store bought and prepackaged goods than I used to, they are still very worth the trip. This is a great store for people who actually COOK and/or bake. Do not expect to find a bunch of pre-packaged garbage here. You can get that stuff from the regular super markets. Finally, they have a BIG parking lot, so there's no trouble parking.

We went here while visiting my sister and her family recently. I was amazed at the number of items I found that I had been looking for, but was unable to find in my neighborhood back in Ohio! My only criticism is that they don't offer online ordering, but you can call and order things over the phone. I just may have to try that sometime :-). It was definitely one of the highlights of our visit.
