Karma Cafe & Smoothie Bar

Karma Café is an amazing little spot in the Bay View neighborhood of Milwaukee. There are plenty of healthy options to choose from and the Karma Bowl was particularly delicious. The strawberries and granola on top were a nice touch, along with the drizzle of honey. I went with one other person and he had the PB Protein Smoothie which was fantastic as well! I wasn't sure how well pineapple would pair with peanut butter, but I was pleasantly surprised by it. Pineapple is such a nice addition to the traditional peanut butter and banana combo. My only gripe is the price point. $10 for a smoothie bowl and $8 for a smoothie seems a little steep. But then again, you're paying for healthy, yummy, high quality food. The gal who runs the shop is also so nice and efficient. I will definitely be returning to Karma Café!

I had some time before the film started across the street at the Avalon and I was in the mood for a smoothie. Had never been to Karma before but now I'll allow extra time to stop in here whenever I'm in the area.I got the PB Protein Smoothie sub spinach and blueberries for bananas and it was delicious. The perfect afternoon treat, and the Avalon allows outside drinks in the theater. It's a small cafe, about 4 tables, but it's cozy. The person who helped me was very nice. They sell local things like candles and coffee beans, and they have a refrigerator of kombuchas and other bottled drinks. I'll be coming back again for sure.

Milwaukee has been lacking in Acai bowl offerings, so I was happy to see that Karma Cafe had options (and a bowl that wasn't soupy...). Once I saw acai in the Karma Bowl, I knew that would be my order - the blend was Açaí, strawberry, banana, and orange juice. The toppings included granola, strawberry, and honey.Then for the drink, I had the Mangoberry Madness Smoothie which was made up of mixed berries, mango, banana, almond milk, and apple juice.Easy to say, that I will be back... especially for that Karma Bowl!

So good! The perfect post barre class fuel and sweet treat. The owner and her mom are very friendly. There's so many great options to pick from. Everything is made on the spot, fresh to order so there can be a wait time but it's worth it. I can't remember if they had any seating but it seemed more of a to-go type place. If it was closer my wallet would be in trouble! Lol

I love seeing new restaurants pop up in Milwaukee and this is one of my favs. I loved coming in and having a healthy delicious breakfast ! I will be making this a place to come visit every time I'm in Milwaukee. They have a variety of options to choose from and all sounds very good! Parking will be one of the tricky things around this area but worth figuring out

Refreshed and ready to take on the day is the way I felt after having breakfast at Karma. This place came recommended as I love açaí and it did not disappoint! The açaí itself is fresh and smooth. I got the small portion of the karma açaí bowl and it was plenty to fill and fuel me for a 2 mile walk around Bay View after. The protein bowl (large) tasted smooth and delicious- perfect for after a work out. The avo toast was picture perfect and tasted that way too! What I love most is that you know exactly what is in your food and there's no extra add ins that you taste unexpectedly. The service- provided by brother and sister (owner) was exceptional. I'm a new mom and making decisions can be hard sometimes and he was patient and kind as I stood there for 10 minutes apologizing. The atmosphere is welcoming and the cafe is filled with sweet sounds of Jack Johnson making me feel like I'm on a tropical getaway! I was actually surprised at how much room there was inside and I could fit my stroller comfortably. I must say, my favorite part of this cafe is there inclusion and automatic door opener. This made me feel like I actually did belong and I was not an inconvenience to anyone by bringing my stroller. This is a huge asset to anyone who does need door assistance, helping them feel welcome as well. I cannot wait to go back.

Okay YUM! First time at Karma Cafe this afternoon and I got the Bali Blend smoothie. Very good, refreshing, and it tasted and feels truly healthy! Quick service and the place itself was very cute and clean. Will be back for sure!

I tried the açaí bowls here a few times now. I love the taste. They're of a good quality but they are pricey. I'm comparing to my experience with a juice bar in Chicago where the smaller size is $8.99 and has blueberries, strawberries and banana in one. Would really love to see a chocolate protein bowl be an option here. I never stay in to eat but the place seems cozy and is always kept clean. The staff of welcoming. Will definitely be back.

Found some really good cold brew in Karma! That cold drip tower makes some great fruity cold brew (with some caramel like mouth feel). Their beans are from Coffee Lab & Roasters based in Evanston, IL. If you like cold brew, you need to go try theirs.
