K Town Cafe

I've ordered their food for delivery and everyone loved it. It was tasty, just right and the portions were large. Having had such a good experience with delivery and compliments, we wanted to eat there.We made the 20 minute drive to it to find this small place in a strip mall. Excited to try it in person we headed inside and came to an abrupt stop. The place was packed, busy, and with it not having a waiting area, those waiting before us were crowded behind the door. We looked around for a host or server and after 5 minutes, we decided to leave. Not a soul came to ask anyone waiting a question and there were no signs of it happening and any order to the chaos. Hence the 3 stars which are for great food but bad service. We'll stick to delivery from now on.

We live in the area so we wanted to stop by and try it out. This used to be a burger place that we would hit here and there, but sadly Covid changed that. The inside hasn't been changed all that much. Maybe a little less memorabilia for local teams and colleges, but overall still a decent interior. It's still roomy and has a nice feel to it, but it won't knock your socks off. The staff is super friendly and really is the biggest reason for the 4th star on this review. The whole staff was attentive and came by often to ensure we didn't go too long without a warm up on our coffee or at least just a table touch. Everyone was super friendly and answered any questions we had happily.Having been to many diners with the same feel and menus I was kind of prepared for it to be just a run of the mill diner and I am reviewing it as such. If you come in with crazy expectations you will probably be disappointed. They are a diner, but they are a good one. Let's say they are rustic but delicious. The coffee was amazing really. As silly as that sounds I had three cups of it and it tasted great without anything added to it. We ordered a chorizo omelette with berries on the side and a meat lovers omelette with nothing on the side. We still got the hash browns on the side with my meat lovers but that isn't that big of a deal just an unfortunate waste of potatoes since I am low carb right now. The Omelettes are four eggs and whatever your chosen additions are. They were good, but they came out a little bland. As this may seem like a bad thing, it's actually brilliant. I prefer to control my salt and pepper in a dish when I can so I can have it to my liking. I always take a small taste of my food and then add as needed, so this delivery was great for me. All together this was a solid experience and all for less than $30 for us. I'll be going back, especially when I cycle carbs back into my diet so I can try more of their items.

Great brunch spot! We love the blueberry pancakes! They are so good. Additionally service is very nice and friendly. Would recommend and will be back.

Terrible service, waited a very long time to order. The other servers kept telling us our server would be over shortly. Food was OK, not great but not terrible.

Tried this place based on a recommendation from a friend, and we enjoyed the food, service, and ambiance very much, so we will definitely be going back. They have a great variety of menu options, so we can try several different things in the future.

Nice atmosphere, friendly and prompt service. Nothing spectacular, but there are lots of menu options.The chorizo and eggs was legit. I would visit again and try the French toast or pancakes.

There are a handful of places I go to for breakfast. K-Town is one of them. It's laid back and generally not aggressively busy. Friendly staff. And there is something about their Eggs Benedict that I just can't get enough of. Today I had the California Benedict. Just freaking delicious!! Hash browns with sautéed onions and a side of bacon. Put me in a food coma!! Topped it off with a Bloody Mary and coffee. The boss has a fruit parfait. She loved it.

It was loud. The food was great and a good price with ample food. Eggs benedict were a bit tart. Sissy had two eggs, two pancakes, two bacon, and two sausage links. A friend had the fruit salad with pecans. She did not care for lettuce. Flimsy and hard to chew. We both prefer head lettuce or romaine lettuce. We will go back to try other creations.

I'm extremely frustrated I've waited half an hour to order and then another half to receive that order, thank god the food was able to make up for their lack of initiative.
