K D Fresh Market

I can't give this place a 5, because there are many great stores like this in the world, and some of them are better. But K D Fresh Market is NOT being judged 'in the world', it is being judged in the northwest suburbs of Chicago: and given that, I GIVE THIS PLACE A "6".K D Fresh Market has the best Central European cold Cuts & Sausages that I have seen outside of Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago. There are at least 10 brands of frozen Pirogi, and and equal amount of cured smoked fish in vacuum sealed packaging. K D Fresh Market has it's own bakery, as well as direct connections with regional Polish bakeries, so the bread is always fresh, and some items, like Poppyseed Strudel, are taken from the oven and put immediately on the shelf. Polish Beers and Jarred/Canned goods fill aisles in this place. And the prices are good. If it takes you even an hour to drive here once a month - it is well worth it.

Love your new store in Crystal Lake and really love the huge deli. But yesterday I went to the deli to get a pound of cheese. The girl behind the counter just looked at me for a minute and then said "point". She picked up the cheese but didn't seem to understand anything I was saying. Two ladies came over to help her. I don't understand why you would have someone that doesn't undersand English work behind the deli.But, again, I love your store! Welcome to Crystal Lake!!

This is a great variety of products. They have nice fresh produce selection a great large deli section lots of fresh hot cook, meals, beautiful bakery, all kinds of variety of stuff.

Deli is pretty good except people behind the counter need improvement! I ordered hot head cheese few days ago and when I returned the people behind the counter did not know what I was talking about ? Also ask some information about fresh sausage...same story!Ambience could be better compared to other polish store.

My wife has been making fun of me for my daily KD Market trips. The store is beautifully organized and well-kept. The deli, bakery, and prepared sections are full of awesome international options of which I have indulged each trip. Also a fan of the international beer options. Found one of the best Oktoberfest beers I've ever had.This is a really unique spot relative to other grocery options in CL and a really cool addition to the city.

Pierogi are the best, the ladies are at your service anything they can help you with they will. And since I use motorized cart everybody is very helpful and that I appreciate
