Enjoyed flavorful chicken fajita with great tomatoes and onions. Slight extra seasoning, but okay. Delicious rice and beans. Salsa on the side had a nice spice. The molcajete is excellent, serving very hot. Plan accordingly. Service was great! the atmosphere was pleasant!

A chain restaurant that is very nice inside offered great service. I had the house margarita in the rocks which was much sweeter than I prefer but not bad. The tostadas were tasty with plenty of shredded beef but somewhat bland. Overall a nice restaurant for a simple meal.

Had an impromptu meet up after work in the bar. Initially there were only 3 of us but anticipated more coming. We had no idea how many more would actually show up. We were informed that groups of 8 or greater could not do separate checks and would be charged 20% gratuity(maybe 22%?). I understand if we were at a table but we were staying in the bar, didn't even know how many people were actually showing up and also people would likely be coming and going. Completely inflexible about the single tab. It's a bar!!! I was told repeatedly that this rule was on their website, who reads the billing rules on a bars websites??? My coworker ordered a drink, tried to pay for it and was told it had to go on the group tab. She declined the drink. We all ended up leaving and going to Scores where we were given separate tabs (at a table) and tipped well. Jose's list business from over a dozen people based on refusal to split a check. Ridiculous. (Scores makes great strawberry margaritas).

Was in town for work, staying right across the street. The front desk suggested this place. We were a bit unsure of what to expect, but it ended up being an amazing meal! This doesn't look like much on the outside, but the restaurant is massive! We were treated to a huge basket of warm chips and delicious salsa. It was a darker color salsa (maybe fire roasted tomatoes?) but not too spicy. Just the right amount of heat for salsa! Our server was very nice and gave some recommendations. I ended up getting the chicken and steak fajitas. These were some of the best fajitas I've ever had. The meat, peppers, and onions were seasoned! Not spicy but seasoned. The steak melted in my mouth. I was given the choice of soft corn or soft flour tortillas, which was a nice change! The margaritas were made well and went down easy with all the great food!An order of churros with chocolate were the perfect sweet ending to an already wonderful meal and more than enough to share!

This place was in Brookfield when I lived in Wisconsin, now they are in Racine and food and service is as good as I remember. Get the table side Guacamole and a Don Julio margarita with grand Marnier. Chips and salsa are fantastic. Jose made my family feel right at home. I went 2 times last week with different groups of my large family.

My go to Mexican food in this area. It's hard to believe that this place has been around for 50 years. WOW!!Good Mexican food with some not-so-traditional twists.I tried their Oaxacan Black Mole Chicken and, honestly, I was not impressed. However, I have had a few other items on the menu and I was pleasantly surprised. This is a very old building that was probably someone's house at some point. Interesting junk-yard decor throughout the place. The service is quite good, and friendly, so no complaints. There's a very good selection of drinks and that's important!! Personally, here I tend to gravitate towards the classic margarita with Don Julio Reposado and grand marnier.I believe they have a second location, but this one is most convenient for me. If I'm in the area, this is one of my go-to dinner locations

We always visit for happy hour. We get the same bartender/waitress every time. She is AMAZING. The ambience is great, the renovations have improved the experience a lot! And the food, as always, was divine. Can't wait to go back!

Everything about this place is great! Interior, clean, so friendly and the food is generous. The salsa looks different from most places but way better. We bought some to take home.

Recently had a meet up with some coworkers. We didn't know how many would be coming so we all just decided to stand around at the bar. We were told though that if there was more than eight people we all had to be on one check. We found that to be quite difficult seeing how we didn't know who was coming and who was going. I've never been to a bar that told me if I was with a group of more than eight people that we all had to be on the same check and gratuity would be added. They ended up being over 10 of us which we left and went to scores who did see us at a table and individually split our bill and did not add gratuity. Better next time!!!

My husband and I have patronized this restore a few years. recently when I went I broke a bridge upon the taco. I told him that it felt like a rock. The manager came over and whisked the food away to the back! He stated that. he couldn't find anything...after he chopped up everything!!! I still have the pieces of my bridge! the insurance company was bogus and offered me little to none to cover the damage after months!I will never go back there!
