Great meat, friendly staff, and good prices! What else can you ask for in a meat market!

I had heard about this place years ago but I hadn't made it in to check it out. My friend and I stopped by on a Saturday and were impressed with the selection and setup of the place. I mainly wanted to pick up Canadian bacon and sausage but was pleasantly surprised of all the options from cheese to syrup to ice cream and of course hot sandwiches. I would definitely recommend the food and the other offerings. Friendly and helpful staff make this place great!

Today we ventured out to Jones Market for some breakfast sandwiches. Checking the schedule, breakfast ends promptly at 10:30am and lunch begins at 11am so in traveling from Milwaukee we had to time this right. The market is easy to find and beautiful on the inside. A big case of meats upfront with a big menu above and Ancora coffee and lots of tables. I didn't have a chance to look around at the rest of the food items for sale but there were lots of freezers packed with Jones' products and plenty of preserves. Reminded me of the stores in Door County sprinkled along the highway to buy WI goodies. We enjoyed the breakfast sandwiches but my two sons were getting a little thirsty, I went up to order an orange juice - sizes listed were 12oz, pint, and quart. "May I have a 12oz orange juice?""We have no oranges so I can't make any juice.""Well do you have any other juice, store bought or even milk?""No.""Can I get a cup of water for my sons?""No, you will have to buy a bottle of water."I remembered that I had a cup in my car so I dashed back and filled it with from the water fountain. I mean, you can't give me (or even sell me) an empty cup? I found this transaction quite telling that the intended client here was NOT children. The large bus of Fireside Theater goers that pulled into the parking lot was more the demographic they catered too. Also in the large bathroom, no changing table available. No surprise there.Very quaint and clean market but not super friendly or helpful. Really wish I could rate this higher because I think Fort Atkinson is a cute town.

Well, all I can review is how the place looked. It looked fantastic. However, we circled and circled for about 5 or 6 minutes and no one acknowledged us or tried to help us. We stood in the ice cream area, we stood in the deli area and nothing. No service, but things looked nice.

We love Jones Market! Their brats are amazing and their deli ham, Canadian bacon and sausage links are favorites in our house. It's a pleasant shopping with kids place - they love the samples, the old phone booth and obviously, the ice cream! We love the random sale items and have found many favorites by giving those a whirl. It's clean, inviting, staff is helpful and kind. We can't get enough of this place!

The new Jones Market store is cute, convenient, and friendly. We get our ham, bacon, and sausage from Jones for The SweetSpot in Whitewater. Beyond their yummy pork products, I love that they have ice cream, coffee, and a variety of other local products (pickles, crackers, sauces, etc). Plus hey make their own brats and sausages in house that are to die for (and the cheese stuffed Italian sausage meatballs. Yum!) The staff is friend and knowledgable and the store is always clean. Love it!!

I just had one of the worst shopping experiences that I've ever had at the Jones retail outlet in Fort Atkinson. I shop there on occasion but today is the last day I will ever shop there. The two women that work there are rude and discourteous. They often scold me when I ask for a product that is on sale. Today I asked if there was any ham on sale because I could not find it in the display case. The woman rolled her eyes at me and said "did you ever think of just asking. I then asked for what I wanted and she said I'm not sure I can give that to you. She went about her business and brought me back the product I had requested. When I asked her if she was having a bad day once again she rolled her eyes at me and threw my change on the counter. I have been buying Jones product for my entire lifetime both in retail stores and most recently at times at the Jones dairy store. I will never return to the store. The management should do something about these two workers who are some of the rudest people that I have ever encountered.Post Script. I spoke to a Jones family member who apologized for my poor experience and promised that the worker situation would change and be monitored more closely. Today I received a written apology. I can honestly say that I was not expecting that but have to post about it. Generous and sincere. I will try them again. Thumbs up to Jones Family.

This was our first visit here. We heard about the location from Jones Market representatives at a "Taste of Home" cooking demonstration in nearby Beloit, WI. The hook was that their meat is prepared with no preservatives. This store is an outlet for the adjacent factory. The items offered are Jones fresh and frozen pork products. They also offer bread from the nearby Fireside Diner Theatre, local Wisconsin cheese, jellies plus other items. When we walked up to the fresh meat counter a lady greeted us with a smile and explained the various items in the meat cabinet. She offered a taste of the German Liverwurst when she saw me looking at it. Later during our visit we saw the same lady making cheese stuffed meat balls in the prep area. The lady at the check out area was friendly and answered the few preparation question we had about the items we purchased. We live about 45 minutes away so I brought a cooler with ice packs and I was glad I brought the BIG cooler. It was a nice experience so I'm sure we will return.

I love the Jones Dairy Farm shop. I'm a local, and have shopped there about 8 times in the last two years. The staff are friendly and courteous and remember me every time I go, often jokingly scolding me when I don't bring my 3 year old son so they can enjoy him. The store makeover is an awesome contribution to the community, bringing history and a bit of the big city selection that I miss from Madison. The value is outstanding, compared to other boutique stores and prices. The staff has always answered my questions courteously and been helpful in taking me to what I'm looking for. Maybe other reviewers are projecting their own personality onto the staff, because I surely haven't experienced it.
