JJ Fish and Chicken

I called to order pick up and the guy kept calling me honey. Probably just trying to be friendly, but he said it after every sentence and it just wasn't professional anymore. Food could be better. I've had better JJ Fish and Chicken at a different location during lunch hours. Of the wings, shrimp, and fries we got, I liked the fries the best. Chicken wings were fried as whole wings (like at Crispy Kitchen on Teutonia, who definitely got the better chicken, but google says they're temporarily closed and they're not answering calls.). Their batter seems to have cream or milk in it and it's not crispy. It was almost like they had the chicken fried and sitting there, then microwaved it before giving them to us. Great disappointment.Shrimp was fishy. You know something's wrong when FRIED shrimp smells.Fries were actually good. lol. Like, really good. Enough to earn them one extra star. Though I don't think I'll go back just for their fries...Oh, and their "latest menu PDF" on their website is out of date. All the prices are higher than shown as of August 14, 2021. I'm posting menu pictures with the updated prices. (though who knows when these will also go up)

Picked up my order just a few minutes after placing it. So it was hot and fresh. But even tho, honestly it was cooked way to long, and most of it was just hard dry gristle. I will not be ordering from that place again

Comfort food fried goodness and so much variety. We had chicken shrimp and fish this time. Even the sides are tasty. I have no complaints pack your patience there can be a wait time due to staffing.

Not bad.. I personally love to order from them because there chicken is a decent price.. I go here a lot more than kfc.KFC..

OMGOODNESS... I took one bite of there chicken and it felt like I was biting into old dirty grease. UNACCEPTABLE. The Catfish is also greasy but seasoned well with TONS OF BONES in the filet! My son, who's 10yrs, gave up trying to eat it, fearing he'd get choked. However he loved the french fries..which were....GREASY also, but good tasting, due to their 'special salt.' I think people will later find out that their heart attacks were not only due to the GREASE but also due to the 'special salt.'

I placed an order on Uber eats before the location opened. 30 mins in, aroun 10:30 am, the location cancels the order. The place is less than 10 mins from my house. I drive there, place the same exact order. No customers are are at the location waiting. In fact the cooks are chit chatting in the back. They don't appear to be particularly busy, but for some reason they cancelled my online order. Now I get to wait an additional 20 mins! The food is good, but the service is less than desirable.

My chicken was tiny as hell! Look like they gave me baby chicken wings. I never seen wings so little. I was starving so I ate it other wise I would have had pics. Do order from this Jjs!

Wish I could give 0 . Looked like the wings came off of a Cornish Hen. And the mess wasn't even done. Meat was bloody down by the bone. My Mother got some onion rings and they were horrible. $25 down the drain! Never, ever again!!! Disgusting!!!

Good food, but bath rooms doesnt work, cant pee or wash your hand, workers are rude and hair look like he just woke up from a nap, nobody wears hairnet, the cashier is rude.

The food was overall too salty. There was no cashier when I arrived. I waited 7 minutes for one to appear. When he finally showed up I was alerted that they couldn't find my online order. So I waited for them to prepare my food although my online receipt said it would be ready by the time I got there. There was no apology nor explanation I just had to wait. The most delicious part about the meal was the macaroni bites although they were also a bit salty.
