JJ Fish & Chicken

wanted some quick food and it was good, fast, and hot.portions are generous and the sauce on the Honey Bbq chicken sandwich is pretty tasty.The fries were soft and Mid-grade, but they weren't oversalted.We didn't get any seafood this time, but I'm curious to try the fish & leave a review on that too

Really great food. Not high end fancy but high quality house/fast food. Food comes out fresh as ordered. The staff are usually pretty friendly. Call ahead so your food is ready on arrival. I always ask for extra lemon pepper, you need to get it on everything. Their shrimp and other seafood is delicious. I also enjoy the fried okra. Place feels overall nice and fresh. I've been coming here for years.

Best fried chicken in Milwaukee. It's not up for debate. Love the lemon pepper seasoning. They also have pretty good desserts. Service is friendly. This is my favorite location.

Being that I am not from Milwaukee, the neighborhood was a bit sketchy. However, it was no different than a hood spot in L.A. I ordered shrimp and fries. Fries were pre-frozen, but hot and fried to order. Same for the shrimp. They were the typical small coated shrimp. Crunch and seasoning was just right.My sisters and cousins liked their fish and shrimp as well. There was a few tables and seats inside so we held onto our purses and ate there. Lol

Ordered the catfish and the jumbo shrimp. Both were damn good. The fries are crispy and delicious. I wish they gave me tartar and I'm almost sure they use Kristal be Louisiana. I'm a fan of Louisiana but I feel like Kristal you'll be all right. The coleslaw is digesting but I don't generally like it anyway. This place was especially gross though. Recommend if you want the fish and chips.

It's not great to be honest. Ordered late night delivery and got 10 wings. The wings have no meat on them. Legit no meat. You could probably eat 45 of them and still not be full. Also the chicken bones inside the wings are black which is unexpected. The breading on the wings actually is decent which is why it gets 2 stars.

Love the food, but sometimes feathers are in the chicken, and absolutely DO NOT GET THE ICE FROM HERE, it is EXTREMELY nasty and unsanitary, overall 3/5

I ordered the chicken breast dinner, assuming it was going to be bone-in chicken, but it was just large chicken tenders. They were very dry, I couldn't even eat some of it. Pretty disappointing.

This food is good man. You get good portions, you pay for some quality. These cats placing magic wands over the food. When you go up in there you will eyeball the place like, "nah" then you get it and the bag is sweating. The paper bag will melt it's that hot. Then you realize the food is fire. It's good. It's the best JJ in the area and I've been to a few. Only one complaint -- these are some kinda rude dudes up in there. I guess it doesn't matter if I'm getting my food mobile.

These people are Taking advantage of the covid. I order through Postmates the wings dinner. And this is what I got. So mad. This is not what I order!! The event put sauce all over!
