We've lived in Wisconsin for over 6 years and have yet to find a decent pizza place. Our search is over.

I've known of Jim's Place for a while because their flavor burst ice cream cones (which are straight out of a 1990s McDonald's) had social media abuzz, but only recently had the pleasure of stopping for the first time. In addition to a mint flavor burst ice cream cone I ordered a cheeseburger and wonton mozzarella sticks. The wonton mozzarella sticks are an incredible value given how many you get for the price. Crispy on the outside and had good cheese pull. The cheeseburger, which had a nice flaky bun, had excellent flavor and is one of the better burgers I've had in the area. It made me sad that I hadn't visited Jim's Place before.I wanted the blue goo flavor of flavor burst, but they were out of it that day, so I went for mint instead. It wasn't super strong like I had hoped, but you could taste the mint. I would probably get a different flavor next time (hopefully they have blue goo available at that point). The gentleman that took my order and made my food (who I assume was Jim?) was very kind. I originally ordered to dine in and switched to to-go as he was bringing my food out because of an urgent matter. He boxed it up for me and never once had an issue with the sudden change. I appreciated it very much.

My first time being at Jim's place was fantastic. I really enjoyed their signature pizza and their variety of food and drinks to choose from their menu. Despite the fact the restaurant alone was small and the tables were close together, the staff was friendly and very busy. I really enjoyed how they decorated the walls with nostalgic memories such as the gumball machine, 70's music, beanie baby crane and a lot of "my name is Jim" tags for everyone to remember. I would move the tables out at a little further for people who want a lot of space. Also, there needs to be a parking lot made behind or next to the restaurant so that no one will have to parallel park and walk there. I would definitely recommend this place for anybody who loves delicious food at great prices.

Great place and can feel a strong sense of the community. They literally take the time to debone the smelt and they are wonderful. Coleslaw is amazing and you can tell everything is homemade right down to the tartar sauce. Very good food. Adorable atmosphere and great customer service. Talk to the owner twice and I believe his father once. Definitely coming back.

Love their ice cream cones! Lots of fun dipping options for the cones and fun sizes. They also have regular ice cream if you prefer that over the soft serve.

The pizza is absolutely delicious. I'm a Chicago girl and have eaten my fair share. Haven't found a place nearby with anything close to this place. Fast friendly service and the prices are awesome. Tried the double cheese bread along with a 12" sausage pie, 2 drinks and we were just over $20. The menu has more than pizza...chicken sandwiches, and of course it wouldn't be Wisconsin without a fish fry on Friday. We will definitely be back.

Stopped in for the first time today after seeing some of the previous reviews, and hearing about it from someone in the area. Stopped in around 5:00pm on 7/18/16 for a to go order. We got a 14" cheese pizza on the regular crust, an order of mozzarella sticks, and a small order of fries. The total came to just under $20. Very, very reasonable price. Here's the thing, the pizza itself, was a 3/5. Admittedly, we didn't get any toppings, but we're usually just fans of cheese pizza. The crust was good, the cheese was good, but it felt like the sauce was just sort of bland. Wish they would either make it sweet (Papa Johns) or zesty (Domino's, Leonardo's of Mequon, or Rocky Rococo, to name a few). As it is, it's just sort of blah and in the middle. Not bad, just nothing exciting. Still, better than many others we've had. The mozzarella sticks absolutely hit it out of the park though. I love the wonton-style for mozzarella sticks, and these nailed it. Delicious. I'm not sure if they're frozen or not, many places are, but I don't care if these were, they were still great. Also, the marinara dipping sauce for it was great, with visible chunks of onion. I wish they would just use this sauce as the base for their pizza. Much better. Fries were fine, but always hard to tell when getting them to go as they are always soggy by the time you get home. They looked like they'd be good in store though. We didn't try the ice cream, but definitely will in the future. If their serving sizes are anything like the pictures shown behind the register, the other reviews aren't lying. A medium cone would be HUGE. Anyway, we'll probably get the pizza again, just because it seemed to reasonable (I'll likely try the pepperoni next time), but we'll definitely be back for the mozerella sticks and to try an ice cream cone or two.
