Jim's Grille

We stopped in for breakfast on a Monday morning and had a fairly good experience. There's food and wait staff were both above expectations and the atmosphere is very typical diner feel. They had a decently big menu and very reasonable prices.

My mom and I were in town recently for a garden event and wanted to grab brunch afterward. It was a nice Saturday so most places seemed to be packed. We decided to try Jim's since we were near it.We entered and it took a bit to be acknowledged. We took a seat and were told a younger server, Isabella, would be taking care of us. Although there were few customers inside and two servers working, it took a long time for her to come to our table, so long we were seriously tempted to leave. She also would make eye contact and turn away without speaking to us. The service was really bad. This was young server, so she will almost certainly improve, but she really needs to learn some small social graces, like saying, "I'll be with you in a minute." or "I'm sorry there was a wait." A little awareness goes a a long way.The interior matches the strip mall exterior - it's a diner dive. The food was fine, but not anything special. They served bottled beer and mimosas. There's plenty of parking in the lot. But I won't go back. There was actually a time when we were waiting for a check and she was sitting at the counter chatting away to someone. Um? What? And in a pinch, perhaps the older server could have helped us out ...

Kind people working there! Really enjoyed the broasted chicken. Very tasty! We will be back to get this again for sure!

Definitely a little hole in the wall place. When we are craving some good chicken, this is where its at!Really the main thing we have gotten here is the broasted chicken and sides, so I can't speak to the rest of their menu. But, basically, broasted chicken is pretty much crispy fried chicken pieces. When you order the chicken, its a mix between dark and white meat. Both are delicious. I'd skip out on the broasted potatos (they are basically like, a whole potato cut in half and roasted!), and I'd opt for fries instead. To round it out - get a salad, the Southwest salad is what we had, and the jalapeno ranch actually has a bit of a kick!They do takeout, but not curbside, so you do need to go into the restaurant to pick it up from the counter, but it hasn't been busy inside when we have gone so far.

I've been here many times. The food is delicious. Burgers are one of the best in town. Fries are the best in town.Peanut chicken salad is amazing!

Service was so so. Young kids making half hearted attempts. Wife ordered a black n bleu burger but no bleu cheese on it. I had a super King James which was decent tasting. Daughter had spaghetti & meatballs . Couple of drinks and bill was over 40 for 3 meals seemed kind if high.oh well. Sat nite and everything everywhere was busy. Place was Ok , doubt Ill return

Great service and food. The help is very friendly!! The variety of choices is amazing.

Boosted chicken the best, good breakfast. Hours stuck, never know when thay are open.

Recently tried the Broasted Chicken after seeing some reviews : Amazing! A new favorite. Still enjoy coming to this local diner.

Well I gave it another chance. I ordered the pearch dinner. 3 butterfly of the boniest fillets I have ever eaten. Cold and I mean cold German potato salad. I thought it was served warm. Coleslaw was ok. Bread ok too. I know bones are in fish but it's not difficult to decently filet fish. I keep giving Jim's a chance only to be bitterly disappointed. Waitresses don't greet you unless your a regular.
