I've loved this place for over forty years. Neighborhood classic with your bartender running the grill and serving great sandwiches.

I have been wanting to try this place for awhile now and the first time that I tried to stop over it was all stools taken so I left to return another day. Today was that day and dam still packed but one stool at the bar was open so I'm finally in for a beer and burger lunch. With very little pictures of the place they needed a Steve stop by just to get some photo exposure and one picture of food on yelp is not good. The place is your type Wi dive bar where everyone is welcoming and friendly. The taps were all domestic I'm sorry to say and that's as good as it gets even in bottles. The place is small with a small bar on one side and a room next to it that looked like a small dining area. The menu is small and I will post pictures but Tuesday when I was there they had a $2.25 cheeseburger special which is very reasonable. I opted for a bottle of point beer because the taps didn't interest me. I ordered the cheeseburger with ketchup, mustard and raw onions not expecting much for the price and I was surprised to see that it's not on a bun but a hoagie style bread. WOW it's charbroiled on a buttery toasted bread with nice grill marks. The cheeseburger was very simple and tasty with a good grill flavor on fresh bread and a pickle spear on the side.WOW this place is very reasonable because even with a 50% tip my beer and cheeseburger was under $8 and the cheeseburger was good.

This place has been a favorite of mine for years. The last visit has compelled me to review. Excellent as always. Kevin, the owner, super guy and always a great host. Burgers are good as always. Prices are excellent. I will continue to support a stand up establishment that is a neighborhood fixture.

I'm going to be honest, I really wasn't excited about trying out a bar on 73rd + Lincoln. I was wrong - if you're in a dive bar mood, Jimmy B' is pretty great. Why?*Frindly, mellow regulars. You'll be made welcome quickly.*Pool, darts and bar dice*There is a jukebox. It plays Johnny Cash.*A tapper of Lite and 2 (very well made) old fashioneds = $8. Come on!! *Burgers are $2.40 or a whopping $2.50 if you want cheese. They are served on fresh, toasted French bread and are reportedly extremely good.*There is something called "chicken pretzels" - its a chicken mcnugget type item in the shape of a PRETZEL. (they're tasty too)If you want a $20 to last you all night and you're out and about in Westallica, Jimmy B's should be on your list.

If you are looking for a place to go to grab a beer, or a strong, cheap drink and relax and talk with friends or catch the game on TV, then this is the place. Run by a fantastic, friendly owner Kevin, and a bunch of the best bartenders in the city, you cannot help but feel welcome in here. No matter who enters you are greeted with a 'Hello' and warm feeling from the owners, bartenders and patrons. As soon as you walk in you feel like family. How many other places can you say that about? As I stated above, drinks are cheap and the beer is cold. Don't expect anything to fancy as likely you wont find it. The food is standard bar grill fare, but done expertly. Try the Bomber, you wont be disappointed. Daily food specials for cheap. Dart board, and pool table also available. So if you are in the area of 72nd and Lincoln, stop in and enjoy a drink or two. Come once, return for a lifetime.

Great bar with a friendly relaxed atmosphere.....drinks are cheap and food is simple no fryers but great sandwiches served until 11:30 pm and they have great pizza as well! Bartenders give great service and are willing to gab and buy a round! You still get end of bottle free drink. You don't find that much anymore! Definitely a West Allis high point!
