Glad we made the road trip! Drinks are very reasonably priced. We splurged on the king crab, which was cooked perfectly. The sides were delicious.

Now for the BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT... we saw the menu and Chicago/Nashville like pricing and thought, "well everyone raves about it". So for $90 we got 2 drinks and a perch and a combo meal. THE PERCH WAS SIZE OF MY THUMB!!! 4-GOLD FISH SIZED shriveled up and flavorless, And all the food was absolutely dripping/soaked with grease and we couldn't eat a third of it. I showed the waitress how small and horrible it tasted and said "I ain't eating this SHIT". She apologized and gave me $5 off. I am serious that we left like half+ our meal. What a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT and to wait like 10 years to finally get there and an hour drive. What a kick to the JUNK. screw your Jim n Linda's... WORST FRIDAY FISH EVER!!! Any local pub would be cheaper and BETTER than your crap!! Shoulda ate at CAPONES down the street!!I will leave a bad review anywhere I can. Talking to a few friends already and they had similar experiences.

On the east side of Lake Winnebago is this cool supper club on the edge of the water. We got there a bit later than we hoped and the bar was packed. We got on the list and settled in with a couple drinks. Despite my misgivings, it only took an hour to get seated. They took our order at the bar and we were seated by the window overlooking the lake. Unlike so many places back home, they actually had bottles of oil and vinegar for the salad. The Vegetable Soup was good and solid, nothing fancy. The Poor Man's Lobster was made with haddock which is fatty enough to work without being too dry like cod can. My husband loved the Chicken Cordon Bleu and the taste of that I got was so good. I finished with a slice of Cherry Pie and we took a long look over the lake before heading back to our cabin. Thank you for helping us make memories on our anniversary.

Drove to Jim & Linda's on Friday evening. Got a drink at the bar and our waitress came to the bar so we could order our food. Ordered and then given the number of the table. Soup and then salad delivered very soon after sitting down. After having the soup and salad our entry came. All was very good and the service was great too. There was entertainment outside so we could hear that in the back round. The view of Lake Winnebago was great too.

Service and the ambiance are very good. Drinks and food are a bit average. Prime rib was good but not a ton of seasoning. My kids got the ribs and weren't fans of the bbq sauce. It's heavy on the tomato profile and isn't your typical sweet baby rays profile sort of sauce. Salad was average. I love homemade ranch unfortunately they didn't make their own, that alone would go a long way for me. I'm a fan of soups and that did not disappoint. I also do want to point out you get soup and salad. So by the time you get your meal you'll be running out of room. I almost forgot to mention the view it's on the lake Can't go wrong with that at all.

We called ahead and learned that they do not take reservations for small groups, so we headed out early in the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. Glad we did. We got a great seat outside on a beautiful evening. A guitarist/singer set up just after we sat down, so great ambience.Drinks from the. We were good. I had the pesto salmon which was delicious. My husband got prime and perch. The pan fried perch was great, the prime rib a little cordy.Overall a great experience, we will be back.

I'm only up in Wisconsin once, maybe twice a year, so it's saying something when I go to a supper club twice. Jim and Linda's is well worth the drive from Green Bay. It's got a lovely view of the water and is always decorated cutely for whatever season. We were there a few weeks before Valentines Day so there was red heart decor all over. The cheese curds are a can't miss. The batter is crispy but fried just long enough to melt the curd but not dry it out. They have a delicious clam chowder and fresh green salad that comes with your meal. But the real star is the prime rib. I've had a lot of prime ribs and this is among the top of my list. Cooked to perfection, always the temperature you requested, and buttery, melt in your mouth fat that you're not compelled to saw completely off. We saw a perch plate go by and definitely bring your appetite, piled high with well cooked fillets I know I'd be taking home leftovers. And speaking of leftovers, the prime rib is also a massive cut that I end up taking home for roast beef hash or sliced thin in a sandwich the next day.

I'll never be back we showed up sat at the bar that was not to busy maybe 20 people waited 10 minutes for the bartender to finish ringing in a check. While the other bartenders walked around and chatted with others. Finally we sit down get out meal soup was straight from a can. The salad tased like the lettuce was a week old. Now comes the best part my 16 oz tbone comes out I ordered it medium definitely comes out just about well done and had to be the worst cut of meat I've had in a long time. the server comes to ask how everything was so I tell him it's horrible so he takes it back to the cook who turns out to be one of the owners says that she feels that the steak is cooked great and her offer is you can have a drink at the bar on us... I kindly declined that and say if they can take some off the price as I only had 2 bites and she then comes back with we can take 5 dollars off what a shit established if the owner think this was a great Steak she should cook at McDonald's!!
