This place is not much to look at but the food is delicious. The service is fast and friendly. Most of had the eggs and bacon and they were all cooked correctly and came out hot and fast. They only take cash but have an ATM inside

Get family owned restaurant in North Chicago. 2nd time here both times great service & food! This time I ordered Steak Skillet with over easy eggs. Big portions. Great taste. Skillet definitely matches up with the "big name breakfasts spots" if not better.

This place has BAD FOOD and TERRIBLE customer service. I've been there twice. The first time was 2 weeks ago with a friend. She had been there before, I had not. She claimed the food was good but hadn't been there in years. Well we went there around 11 am when there was no longer a crowd, we both got the 3 meat skillet and the potatoes were HARD and RAW. So we told the owner who then remade it although he looked bothered. Today I went there for pick up to order food for my husband and kids. I ordered the 3 meat skillet, and again it was raw. We went back in because they gave us RAW food and they FORGOT to add bacon instead of sausage in my sons breakfast. They corrected it, it looked okay, and when we got home my potatoes were RAW STILL. At this point we check through everything. My daughters French toast is hard, and burnt. My sons philly has BARELY any meat and his fries are cold and bland. My husband who ordered chilaquiles (green) opens up his box and has (red) chilaquiles instead. We called back, upset and hungry. The owner tells us to bring back the food and he will refund us, which we did do. But, HE DIDN'T EVEN APOLOGIZE. I really do try and support Latino owned businesses, but this kind of service is inexcusable. I barely write reviews but when I do, you better believe it's worth writing a long ass epic. The food is bad here and I dont recommend anyone spend any of their money here. This place wasn't even busy, and they completely fucked up our order!!! Not to mention that they take cash only, like who does that?? It's a hassle having to go withdraw money at the atm, just to receive shitty food and service. I took pictures of everyone's food except mine because it was being remade. DO NOT GO HERE, THEY ARE RUDE AND THE FOOD IS GROSS.

Great place in North Chicago for a tasty breakfast. Along with Monica's Grill on Belvidere, this place is one of the best in the area. Jessie is a great cook and very reasonable with his prices. The homemade sauce is delicious and just spicy enough, his food is always good, and it's served quick.It's cash only so make sure to stop by the ATM or bank beforehand.I definitely recommend, you gotta check this place out!

Nice breakfast spot with very reasonable prices. There are your typical American breakfast dishes as well as Mexican inspired fare. Service is friendly. We will be back again!

Great place to stop for a quick breakfast be American or authentic Mexican. My favorite are 'huevos rancheros' with their homemade hot sauce!

The place could use an upgrade but the food was good. We were all served very generous portions. A couple of us had breakfast and the others had lunch items. All were cooked well and yummy! Good choice when you don't want franchise food and you want a variety of food options.

Delicious food and wonderful service. Absolutely loved this place their cinnamon roll French toast is on point!

As a first time customer, I am disappointed with the customer service. When I placed my order on the phone I was not told that they only accept cash. The rude male at the register told me to go across the street to the use the ATM at the gas station. This cost me $5 extra in fees. He didn't say "sorry for the inconvenience" or anything. That was my first and last time visiting this place. It doesnt matter if the food is good, his poor attitude ruined it for me.
