Okay.... I was back in Whitewater and had to stop in for breakfast. Being extremely hungover I wanted something to help soak up the ick. Was met with a big hello from the whole staff. Got sat right away. Water coffee served up immediately which was perfect for my head. My waitress was super friendly with big warm smile every time she came by. The feel of the place is awesome!! It's a great small town dinner feel. Which made me fall in love with the place automatically. After going over the menu I got the Chicken fried steak & eggs. It was incredible! The gravy was delicious the Steak was fried up crispy. The eggs and hash browns were perfect. If you are anywhere near Whitewater, WI this the perfect spot to get a good meal with that hometown feel!

I would give this place ZERO stars if that was an option. I suppose the one star could be for the sweet server and good service but other than that HORRIBLE experience. The food was vial, inedible. I ordered an omelette with bacon and american cheese, hash browns and toast. the omelette tasted as if someone was smoking a pack of cigarettes in the back, had little to no cheese and was absolutely disgusting. the hash browns were flavorless even salt and pepper couldn't fix them. The toast was alright. My fiancé had biscuits and gravy, eggs and bacon. She couldn't even get through a bite, i refused to try it after seeing her initial reactions. "It is the worst thing i've ever had" is what she said. Hers also tasted burnt and like cigarettes...I didn't want to say anything to the server because she was very sweet and amazing but I wish I could get my money back for this horrid experience. Please save your time and your money and take your paycheck/business else where.

Wonderful family owned restaurant that's been around for a long time. The coffee doesn't stop coming and it's the best. Service is fantastic. Food came out so quick. We went for breakfast and ordered a skillet and two breakfast sandwiches. Huge portions, low cost. I wouldn't worry about a wait because it's a very large restaurant.

We've lived in Whitewater for two years and haven't tried this place before today. Why did we wait so long is the biggest question. We were seated immediately, and service was prompt throughout. Our food was served VERY quickly. The coffee was kept warm - only mildly off-putting for those of us who add cream and sugar. I'm quite certain we'll be coming back, and you should too!

Solid 4 starService was goodCountry music in background funMy friend hated her food but mine was goodWhen in Whitewater, one cannot expect a foodie experience and this family restaurant/diner did not disappoint to just get some calories.I wanted something simple and they had that and more. With the typical multiple page diner menu- I was super happy to feast here. I am vegan so I had the stir fry. Super salty and I am not sure what that sauce was but it was GOOD! They even service alcohol but we did not partake. My friend had the tuna melt- she was expecting open face and well-done but got sandwich style and gooey. She ate maybe half.The place was filled on a Fri night as locals went to Fri night dinner. Lots of seniors were there and were having a good time at what seemed to be a local fave and there were certainly regulars.If I wasn't vegan, I imagine the all day breakfast with some good unlimited diner coffee would be a welcome way to start the weekend.

Ate here the other day with wife. Had fish fry and clam chowder soup. Very good taste. Also enjoyed their breakfast including their biscuits and gravy. Nice family and staff.

Very cute place. The service was ok. It took a while to get our order placed. Probably about 10 minutes of waiting. But once our order was placed our food arrived within 10 minutes. I got the chorizo skillet which was pretty good.

Cute little spot in downtown. Busy on a Saturday so that must mean it's good, right?Got seated quickly as the place is larger than it looks. Staff is friendly with suggestions on the large menu, All of the food is large portions soCome hungry. Great spot for breakfast but I'll try lunch next time.
