Jeni St Market has the best customer service in the city of Madison, bar none. The cashiers are all so kind and fun - they really make an effort to get to know you. The meat, produce & bakery? Are you KIDDING me? So, so yummy! And for a small grocery store, the Jeni Market has it all & it's all well-displayed. Great sales, great beer cave and wine selections, amazing people and ( from what I hear) a nice place to meet a potential date - especially on Thursday nights! Who knew?

I stopped by for grocery on a Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately by the time I stopped their prepared food was mostly over. There was nice cake and other pastries in the display, but I didn't get any. I just got normal grocery. Prices were reasonable.

Whenever I visit Madison it's always a treat to shop at Jeny Street Market. They have such a fun variety of quality things to choose from. Yummy produce, tasty baked goods, lovely cheese and great eggs. The staff are always helpful and nice too!!

What a gem! Walked there (2.5mi) from my hotel, wandering through the magnificent neighborhood, marveling at the beautiful yards. Excellent meat counter! Bought a pound of Nueskes bacon, and a pound of Nueskes ham and bacon brats.....grabbed some rotisserie chix salad at the deli and a couple of small rolls to make for my airplane flight lunch. Can't wait to go back!

We recently moved to the Madison area, and were looking for a local grocer with organic and healthy produce. After going to a couple overpriced and pretentious grocers, I was pleasantly surprised with this hidden gem! The prices were reasonable, they have a large selection of produce and many other items, and the atmosphere is completely unpretentious. I will be back again.

My favorite American, non-chain grocery store in Madison. Fresh local produce, great bakery with breads, desserts, and cakes, an awesome beer selection that offers singles for those that don't want to delve into a costly four or six pack, Jennifer Street Market has it all.The deli area has tasty lunch special that are ready for pick up daily. Not to mention, they are neck and nwck with Jim's Meat Market when it comes to brats. Mango habanero, jerk, Philly cheese steak, Nueske bacon, chocolate chipotle, loaded baked potato, and Hawaiian brats are some of the unique one. The Hopsanity brat is the spiciest in Madison with crushed red pepper, habaneros, and jalapeños and made with Belam IPA from Ale Asylum. Ale Asylum, Lake Louie, and the infamous Dragon's Milk from New Holland are some of the craft beers the to make their beer brats. They also have duck, pheasant, and "Kobe Style" steaks are also showcased here. Yes, the "Kobe Style" steaks are American Waygu steaks and are worth getting for the steak lover in your life. Friendly and helpful staff are always there to help you along the way. Enjoy.

Great place to go for deli meat, salads, meat or beer. They are a small store but have almost everything you might need. Love the fresh bread from Batch, local eggs and variety of local cheese. They used to have an awesome olive bar, but I think those days are over. The produce can be hit or miss at times but they do a great job stocking local produce and other foods.

I think it's great to have a close neighborhood grocery store. They have almost anything you might need.The real reason I love this store is the helpful people working there, specifically, "Produce Paul". He was outstanding explaining the difference between certain vegetables and melons, and really helped guide me to make the best selections!

Recently, we visited Madison from out of town and we were delighted to find a cute, neighborhood market of this caliber! Perfectly stocked with essentials and local items. Great for vegetarians, vegans and those with special diets. Shout out on the store brand 10 yr old Cheddar which is excellent, customer service also excellent and the beer cooler amazing! I particularly enjoyed finding very local, seasonal produce available at a reasonable price. Too fun! I would recommend stopping by.
