The Food:Jax hands down has the best jerk chicken wings I've eaten a very long time. They are so well seasoned and deliciously spicy. I seriously crave these at least once a week after having them. I also order the loaded fries along with it, which have crispy bacon, tomato and cheese topped on the fries. Yummm! The Pricing: Very reasonable and doesn't break the bank. An order of wings comes with a couple of sticks of celery and carrots, as well as a cup of ranch or bleu cheese. You do have to order fries at an additional cost. Ambiance:It's your typical sports bar setting. High table tops throughout the restaurant, a long bar area with several TV's with all the sports events on. I do enjoy going there, having a couple drinks, wings, and loaded fries after a long week. I highly recommend going there and enjoying their jerk wings and a couple drinks with friends. I'm just visiting and the owner approached me and started talking to me and all of the servers were attentive and SUPER HOT! And I just felt loved and appreciated here. I came on a Tuesday after a stressful telework day, but this place is definitely the place to go to when you want a drink and food with some friends and a super chill atmosphere that you can appreciate.As a Yelp review who's visiting from out of town, I HIGHLY recommend coming here!

This was the first time for us. It's not a huge menu, which is great. There are plenty of choices for food and beer. We like a good choice for craft beers. Our food was really good, nothing special as far as menu but very tasty. The cheese curds, however, were probably some of the best I have ever had. Our server was fine. She did her job. If in the area we would certainly consider eating here again. And they do have a patio where dogs are allowed, so this is a huge plus for us with our little furry friend.

We were really impressed with the food and the service we received this Sunday during our family lunch. We ordered as appetizers some wings and a big nacho platter with all the fixings. Everything came hot and fresh and way above average for bar food.Each one of us had ordered something different. The Rueben was amazing! Freshly shaved corn beef. My wife had the all you can eat Walleye fish filets which was huge portions, hand battered, fresh, very tasty.... We will be back to eat again it was that good! I want to try the hand battered pork tenderloin sandwich.

When the food finally came (30+ minutes) after the staff took the order, I was almost not hungry anymore. I would not have stayed but had family with 2 preschoolers with me and kept telling the little ones "they are making our food, it will be here soon." The manager's response about the wait was that they "got swamped because of the polar plunge." and "I understand." No apology or free soda. I suggest she watch Bar Rescue and get tips for letting customers the situation, offering free soda, and appropriate ticket time (she said their's is 20 minutes), as well as planning ahead when big events are in the vicinity. This is also an excuse since there are many reviews about the poor service. On the plus side the food is "ok" and did come to the table hot. Still, the food is not worth waiting that long. I will not go back.
