The Chicken Pot Pie soup is amazing!! But when you hear they have it act fast! The regulars seem to absolutely love it, it goes very fast.

Supporting local and small owner business is a no brainer. This small and local business is cute with furniture from the 70's. Here's the " But". Everything on the menu looks like you can put together at home with no problem what so ever. The taste was okay. I'd say this is a good place to meet up for coffee if you want some place that's quiet

I stopped by java train on my way to an appointment. When I walked in the first thing I noticed was the decor. The atmosphere was a bit...confusing. There were clean counters that gave a diner vibe. However, the couches and other decorations seemed like things I would see in an elderly relative's house. The menu was large. I ordered a vanilla latte which was overpriced, but very good. Overall, I would stop by again if I passed by, however I would not go out of my way to come here.

Nice little place. A different and very good homemade soup everyday, I highly recommend trying to get in on the first Tuesday of every month for a fantastic Ruben sandwich and awesome Ruben soup!! Friendly staff. Sit and enjoy your coffee and a chat with some of the regulars, look over some of the items they sell made by a few local crafters. If Rubens aren't your thing try the Roundhouse!! Or stop in on a Sunday morning and pick up the hot ham and roll special

Nice little secret.A big sign on Main St. and a few mailers into local businesses for delivered lunches would help take them to the next level.Good luck guys!!

Wish I could make it here more often but I always seem to come when I am in a hurry to be some place. That being said I always know I can grab a quick cup of coffee and be on my way in no time. The staff is always very friendly too!

I was sad to see the single star from Dana. I have passed Java Train many times, and I have wanted to give it a try. I like to patronize local spots and promote small businesses. There is something special about places like Java Train, trying to thrive in more obscure neighborhoods or communities like Butler. We finally tried it on a Monday afternoon. We had very nice customer service from the young lady that answered the phone. They offer a build-your-own-sandwich, and I had a turkey sandwich with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and jalapeno on marble rye. It was delicious. I was only a little unsure of whether or not the meat came from a package. I would love to see them invest in a slicer and purchase their meat from a local purveyor like Karl's Market. They're closer to our business than Karl's, and I would like to frequent Java. Their other ingredients were very fresh and the bread was good quality. The meat could be the final complement to the sandwich and deliver a fourth star to the next review. The chilli and the Roundhouse signature sandwich received high marks. The delivery service was prompt too, and there was zero charge for it. We were happy to tip handsomely to guarantee similar future service. The only other improvement to make would be the coffee. I ordered an Americano and the flavor was not as "authentico" as say from other coffee joints. The Americano should be beautifully frothy (not to be confused with foamy), with the espresso and water incorporated fully to make a muted but smooth, strong coffee drink. There needs to be a little coffee lab time devoted to perfecting drinks. Other than that, I am happy to report that we'll return to Java Train for their output. They need more of a chance and some appreciation for their operations to shine. Community support can make all the difference in the world.

If I could give this place a zero I would. Most awful customer service ever. But it would seem with the lack of reviews that no one goes here anyways. I hope this place goes under.

I was so disappointed in this place! It looked cute on line and I enjoy checking out non-chain little coffee shops. We walked in and the place was empty and now I know why! I asked if they had breakfast food and the lady working behind the counter gave me an eye roll and grunted "look on the counter". I apparently asked an annoying stupid question and she has zero personality and customer service skills. To be rude and unhelpful and working in a coffee shop is a terrible combo! I like eclectic and rustic decor but the inside of this place was simply dumpy to boot. The prices are not worth the terrible service and atmosphere.

Waaaaay better than all the chain coffee shops. The service was spectacular and super friendly. Coffee was excellent. And the breakfast sandwiches were fresher than fresh. Literally made one at a time and made with care and love for their craft. Totally recommend!!!!

I come to this cafe often and know for a fact they slice their own meat. Even their ham on Sunday's is sliced to your specification shaved or slices. I stop in often for a breakfast sandwich and coffee. Their soups are to die for. The Roundhouse is my favorite for lunch out of the many different sandwiches they have to offer. I highly recommend this small hometown Coffee Shop & Cafe for a relaxing visit with friends.
