I like to bike to coffee shops near Cedarburg and this year I discovered the Java Dock Cafe in Port Washington. When you walk in you will see a smaller area where you order...it's cute but be sure you go upstairs....You will find a large, bright, tasteful room with lots of tables and lots of windows. The Oatmilk Latte I got was good and the Raspberry scone delish. They also have a few outdoor tables and a walk up order window. Most importantly, all of the employees seemed to care (you can tell). The Java Dock Cafe is not on the main downtown street (it's around the corner) so be sure you don't miss it.

I was utterly charmed by this darling coffee shop nestled in downtown Port Washington. My husband and I were headed on a day trip to Green Bay when we were in need of a bite and some caffeine for the road. Enter Java Dock Cafe.I ordered a bagel and one of their specialty lattes, assuming I'd have to take it to go as their space is so small and there weren't any tables that I could see. I was wrong! They have an adorable dining space on the second floor. If you're able to navigate a flight of stairs, you can definitely enjoy your coffee and bites in house. The asiago bagel and cream cheese was toasted and delicious. The latte was lovely and the service was wonderful. Zero complaints. I would definitely stop in here the next time I'm in the area.Get to it!

Whoever was the young lady working there this afternoon Friday, September 1, 2023 was an absolute delight. She was super friendly and welcoming, and made us fantastic drinks. She was so cheerful she made my day! Absolutely love this coffee shop. And their cookies are the bomb, especially the chocolate chip is to die for. Thank you so much for your warm welcome today! We need more people like you in this world!

You can almost miss this nice place in Port Washington. We came on a Monday morning, and landed here since there were limited options. We enjoyed the breakfast burritos and scones, as well as some crafty coffee drinks. The upstairs is indeed a nice quiet place.

Great coffee drinks. Nice cozy place to hang in downtown port. Quick access walk up window is much appreciated for quick access to coffee on the go and for those avoiding indoor group settings.

Great staff and consistent food. The Java Dock is my constant starter for the day no matter if it's during the week or on the weekend. They are dog friendly and make us feel like it's the local coffee shop that we have always needed.

I was there one day and I wanted an iced americano, which was on the menu. I think it may have been the owner, she said oh well that's pretty much a cold brew. So I went along with it and she upsold me for a cold brew. I didn't want that much caffeine and I overpaid. She was awful. Usually the staff is good but she was nasty.
