Jamerican Jerk Center

Food is decent. Customer service is horrible. Establishment is ran like someone's personal kitchen. They will cancel your orders and not let you know why.

I was in Milwaukee working and had extremely limited options food wise. They were giving us Papa John's pizza and I was in the mood to eat something a bit healthier, so I ordered from Jamerican.I got the large jerk chicken, extra spicy ($12.67). The first thing that I noticed was how extremely small the portion of chicken was. There was one wing and then what would have been one breast (medium at best sized), but it was chopped up into three pieces, so who knows if it even came from the same piece of chicken? To top it off, there were no plantains and the sauce wasn't hot at all. Ultimately, I wound up filling up on rice and beans (which they did give a massive portion of).With a solid amount of legit Jamaican spots in MKE, this is one that I will not be returning to.

Please do not go here! This is the worst Jamaican food I've ever had. The rice is over cooked. The jerk chicken and curry chicken lack seasoning. And the portions are small although I ordered 2 large dinners. I requested extra jerk sauce. There was NONE in the bag at all. Such a disappointment.

In Nooooooooo way shape or form is this Jerk. I ordered jerk chicken dinner (small $9) and received bbq Chicken. Now I know Jerk chicken and I also know jerk sauce. How dare they claim there jerk sauce to be jerk sauce. 1. Jerk sauce doesn't have tomatoes in it it has scotch bonnet peppers garlic spices etc.....Not f***ing bbq sauce. The Neeeerve I'm so pissed that I gave them a chance and wasted my money. On top of it all it tasted like bland baked chicken with bbq sauce but sounded upset when I called to ask about the sauce, the chicken just my whole order. I thought I had the wrong order nope I didn't and had the nerve to say you'll be back before I left yeah back for a refund lol...Uh No!!!.....Garbage Jerk!!!!! Bbq sauce as jerk sauce wooooow!!! The lowest I could give was one star:(.....Just keep driving down to Uppa Yard!!

I usually don't write reviews, but for how the situation was handled. I had to take the time to let it be known. I order from Jamerican Jerk Center for the first time through doordash. I order 2 oxtails dinners rice, cabbage, and plantains were suppose to be included, plus I ordered 2 jerk patties. When I received the meal it was very flavorful , but I was disappointed with the lack of food portion and no plantains! I paid $45 in total. I decided to give them another chance the next day just off the strength of the food being seasoned so good. I called in this time for pick up to place my order. I spoke to the "owner" over the phone to let her know about my previous order through doordash. I mention the lack of oxtails and plantains were missing. She told me they were only served with your meal if you call and ask for them.Which I found crazy, but she assured me they were available when I order right now. I tried to order large oxtails separate and large curry goat separate with rice and cabbage for sides this time. For some reason she said the restaurant doesn't do that. I decide to get the exact same thing I order through doordash. I asked her for the total she said she couldn't tell me because she is cooking which I found was rude. I get my order and I have 4 oxtails on each plate yet again with no plantains once again even after verifying they were there. I order a large for both dinners and paid $40 for everything. I called right away to let her know the issue. Her only reply was she didn't make the meal and you win some and you loss some. Please do not give this place any business they make up there prices according to how they feel. They serve you and make you pay same price even if what you asked for is not available.

Terrible! I was at the Center Street Festival and I was manning a booth. They showed up an hour late. I should've taken that as a warning. But I had a short break and I wanted to try their food since I passed by their store a couple of times and went in once but to use the restroom (by the way no one was at the front counter to greet us and no one in the back said hi but thats a whole other story). Anyway I ordered rice and beans with cabbage. The Jamaican lady under their makeshift tent and awkward designed banner with their relative kids running back and forth from it, wanted to charge me full $8 like same as with chicken. I said no chicken, all I had was $5 bucks, she then turned around and told the guy serving, give him the $5 plate which was 1 scoop of dried tasteless rice and beans and a half scoop of cabbage. I was so hungry and in a rush, I just took it. In about 15 minutes I was out trying to find more food because I was soo hungry. $5 to waste. My co-workers bartered with her later in the day, and she ripped them off. The Jerk chicken was tasteless, she gave them the same half scoop of cabbage and 1 scoop of cardboard tasting rice and beans for them to SHARE! I wanted to give them one more shot so I wanted to barter with her later she said "You ate already". WHAT!? Their food sucks, and their attitude sucks. It was annoying to see that lady there grinnin' with her cheap purse all day ripping people off. I'll stick to my favorite Jamaican restaurant on Fon Du Lac. Drive down Teutonia and keep on driving passed this place. Try visiting the African store nearby, they don't have hot food but cool stuff and the owners are nice.

‍‍‍‍ 45 mins for a burger and catfish and literally no one was there. Why the hell did we choose to go here?

They are very rude lie to customers trying to get food and when I did get my food i found a roach in my food took it back they didn't want to give me my money back don't eat there ever!!!!
