We did carry out of six tacos. Carne asada was nice, chorizo was nice. Neither were amazing but they were good. And the price was reasonable, $22 for six tacos.Parking was super easy. Customer service was outstanding. The restaurant dining room was full and it was very clean. We will definitely go back.

Did a takeout order today.Ordered 2 Mexican cokes, a steak taco, chicken tostada and sope plus chips and salsa. This cost about $30.Taco was missing cilantro and onion. Tostada was layered right on top of the other food so it was soggy by the time I got home. Sope looked pathetic. Didn't try it yet. Only charged for 1 Coke so only one received. No real reason to return. The chicken was okay.

This is my 2nd time coming here. I ordered the burrito frito mujado with chicken. It was good but I expected it to be a little more crunchier but it overall wasn't that bad. My brother order the flautas dinner and that was pretty good too. The rice seemed a bit overcooked or stale or something cause there were bits that we hard when you chewed on it. Their chips and salsa was good. The salsa wasn't too liquidy. I also order the horchata. So good. Service was pretty quick and the waiter was very attentive.

I decided to take my coworker out for lunch today and have to say it was a good choice. So, let me get into it! The moment you enter Jalisco Restaurant you can feel how welcoming the staff is. It is very laid back and easy going. It will have to say it was very popping! There was a huge party that filled the entire store! That's how one knows it's good I will say! The food was excellent. I got the tortas and I did like it a lot. The chicken was very juicy and very tasty. I could tell the cooks really cared about the dish and even my friend food. The service was pretty good only thing was our waitress forgot to bring our chips out. Overall, I will say this is the spot for tacos in this area!

Not much to say about this place other than great tacos and quick service. Being one of the only "late night" (open later than 9 unlike most places ) spots you can't go wrong. Carne asada tacos were moist and flavorful. I definitely understand why it stays packed during regular dinner hours. And if tacos aren't your mood, they have a pretty expansive menu selection to choose from.

I got a steak burrito with cheese, avocado, and sour cream. Very skimpy and was not wrapped well enough. But the flavor was there. Good quality meat. Had only 2 cups of the green salsa, they didn't pack a red one like other places do. I also ordered a small fry on the side. They were pretty good as well not the best quality fries, but sure beats the fast food places. I paid $17.70. I was not given an itemized receipt, but I'm assuming the charge for the way I got the burrito. You tell me whether that was a good deal or not.

If you're looking for authentic Mexican cuisine in Gurnee, Jalisco is a great place to satisfy your cravings. The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with colorful décor and traditional Mexican music playing in the background. The service is friendly and attentive, although a little slow at times. But what really sets Jalisco apart is the delicious food. The menu is full of classic Mexican dishes, from tacos and burritos to fajitas and enchiladas. Everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice. We particularly enjoyed the enchiladas, steak tacos, and ceviche tostadas. Frozen margaritas (I had the mango and it was delicious) and the micheladas were also good! A few cons: Dinner for four was about $100, and while the food was good, not sure I'd pay that much again when I can get similar food and quality from other Mexican restaurants for about $40-$60. Also, both my wife and I experienced stomach discomfort and frequent trips to the restroom that evening and the next day, but our sons didn't not have an issue. Overall, Jalisco is a good choice for anyone looking for authentic Mexican cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere. However, not the most economical choice and I'll chalk the stomach issues to our food choices, and not so much the food at the restaurant.

Ordered two tostadas - one ground beef and one steak...Did not get the steak tostada...And what bull caca...they put the second tostada on top of the first and the bottom one had less than half the topping on it...Great way to save money and rip off the customer...See the picture attached...Won't be back...If I could leave zero stars I would...

We have been customers for the past 8 years since we moved over the border to Wisconsin. They have everything! And they do it well. It is one of the few restaurants, especially Mexican that you can get authentic cooking. They have the Caldo's a.k.a. soups, and they are all delicious. The Chile relleno's are the best. Margaritas their epic. And we love the frozen sangria. The tamales dinner with the chili sauce they have over it, literally is the best tamales we ever had. They're full of meat and all pure corn. Not like on the husk where it could be dried MASA and dry meat inside. We just actually tried those for the first time and they were soft tender amd our favorite. The flan for dessert is not the typical flan, but you will be happy it's not because it's like a Mexican flan delicious dense piece of cake, truly guilty, but worth it! THEY STAY OPEN LATE!!!! no restaurants in Wisconsin are open after 8 PM which is b.s. everybody used to be open later. But the time they're open until makes it able to get a nice meal and you can't get that anywhere else. The pozole is my fave. They have nopales a staple of real Mexican households like ours. I'm Italian and live the Mexican married life can't get better than that. The place is huge so there's always room to drink and hang out. So yes, my husband and I appreciate this restaurant and they're great service. Because we've been going there long enough to know the same people are there.
