Jake's Restaurant

Haven't been to Jake's in at least 10-years and the place still has the same rustic charm. Nice sized bar for an old fashioned makes for a great start. We were seated promptly and our server did a great job of tending to our table. Jake's offers a haystack of onion rings that are a great addition to the variety of steak cuts. They also offer a large selection of toppings for the steak that make for a special meal.

Always fantastic. Dinner is always great but didn't know much about the happy hour until more recently when I didn't have to be at work until 6:00 !!!1WOW. Truffled Deviled Eggs, great cocktails, bacon wrapped chestnuts . . . can't beat it!!!!

Loved the old steakhouse feel of this place, lots of buzz and very busy for a Monday night! Service was great as well. I had the filet trio and like the butter one the best. Also I do t typically rate onion strings as must haves at nicer establishments like this but they're a must have. We also shared some of the mac n cheese and was very good. Also had the baked potato which was cooked to perfect firmness.

This ace never disappoints. I love the Onion Rings and always start my dinner with them. I love the roast, Duck. I always dineat Jake's for special occasions, but find myself going back just for the rings and Duck.

Okay, WOW! This restaurant is a new favorite for sure. It's a cute, and quaint little steakhouse tucked in on a country road in Brookfield. It's cozy, and sophisticated at the same time. Perfect place for small/intimate celebrations, dates, etc. and the food is excellent! Wait staff are exceptional. We tried the cowboy steak and New York strip- both were delicious. Twice baked potato's were delicious, the creamed spinach, and you have to get the Mac n cheese! Too many good options to choose from. You'll just have to try it for yourself. I will definitely be back.

My husband and I were looking for a place to celebrate our anniversary..we usually go out for steaks or something a little bit nicer and we settled on Jake's.I tried scheduling a reservation online, but it looked like they were fully booked for that day so I scheduled a table for the following night which happened to be a friday. We arrived at our reservation time(7:30PM) restaurant was fairly busy with people waiting in the bar. The hostess was unable to find our reservation so I pulled up my email and realized I had [stupidly] scheduled it for the wrong day. The hostess was incredibly nice about my mix up and said no worries! I can't believe on a busy night she was so accommodating and waived us over to the bar and said she'd take care of it! We didn't even have time to finish our drinks before she had a table for us. The table was decorated with confetti and a little card saying "Happy Anniversary". What a nice little touch even though we came in last minute!The service was excellent, the food was delicious and I thought the prices were reasonable for a good steak place.Our server even brought us a little dessert before bringing the check! I had the ny strip and my husband had the tenderloin with french onion soup as a starter. We'd definitely go back again for a special occasion. Very bad management! Really disappointed, terrible service ! Coming from Kansas City for the weekend and had the most horrible experience DoNOT go there. So expensive for a bad service.

Stopped in for my anniversary dinner during the week. Arrived around 6pm and the dining room was about half full, but quickly filled.Each server had about 4 tables, but our server seemed a bit behind all night with our table and the others. There were a few times we just sat waiting. We ordered a dessert drink at the end and it took around 15min so they didn't charge us, which was nice.I had the boneless ribeye and my wife had the filet. Both had a nice thick crust to them and were very tender and cooked exactly as ordered. The side of brussel sprouts were good, but not really worth the upcharge.We mentioned in the OpenTable reservation we were there for our anniversary but the host and waitress didn't mention it, we did see other tables where they discussed birthdays and other events with the customers, so maybe it depends on who you talk to.Overall it was a good meal, but for the price and more of a supper club feel venue I would say everything seemed about 10-20% higher than other similar places.

This place is permanently closed and has been for some time, supposedly due to non-payment to employees.

The food is way overpriced very small portions and the service was so slow. Our food also came out cold.
