One thing you should know right off the bat - I am stingy with my "5" ratings, so the bottom line is that I am a fan of this place. I've eaten here a half dozen times or so, and never had a bad meal. The one I had last night was excellent and prompted this review. I ordered the fried perch (it was Friday in Wisconsin after all), and it was flat out one of the best I've ever had. I don't know where they get their fish, but dang the sheer size of the perch fillets was massive - like 9+" long each. Not at all the typical 3-4" pieces you get elsewhere. And they were lightly breaded, perfectly fried and seasoned. I also tasted their fried cod and their baked cod - both of which were excellent too. Beyond these, they have a great Rueben, Philly, burgers, etc. Again, I have never had a bad meal here. The location is a bit in the boonies, but easy enough to get to, and worth the 30 minute drive for me. While not a huge place, they seem to be efficient and quick. The prices are quite fair. The bar is nice, clean, and well lit. The bathrooms are clean and nice. The owners have clearly invested in the place, and it is well managed. If you are in the area, or even if you are not, I encourage you try out the place!

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and there were a ton of cars in the parking lot. Walker accessible. We had pot roast grilled cheese with a side of horseradish and au jus and a Cuban sandwich- mustard spicy and delicious. Service was fast, food hot. Casual pub dining. Good dessert options, but we didn't have room. Large portions Gambling machines a plus- we will be back.

Great fishfry, perch and cod were delicious. Our waitress, Ashley, was amazing with us. Working with older customers isn't easy and she was fantastic with my father, 87, and his last friend, 82. We always have a great experience here.

I'm kepo so I always give every place the benefit of the doubt. No expectations. We get what we order. Just want good food. Ordered the "pork and steer" burger with Alfredo sauce and bacon. A big ask for a busy night. I understand and am usually amicable. Bacon had a burnt and had a yesterday flavor. Burger had no seasoning and was way over done. Alfredo sauce definitely came from a can. Saving Grace? The brat party. Very flavorful. And the baked French onion soup was tasteful despite being homemade.

My wife and I stopped here while returning from Waukesha, WI. We decided to take a scenic drive home rather than the tried and true route we'd normally use. We were very happy we did! Food, beverages and service were all excellent. The outdoor seating was perfect, as it was a sunny day and just the right temperature. Lots of people were enjoying the day, but plenty of servers to do a tremendous job. The menu is extensive...something for everyone. Prices are really reasonable, especially considering portion size. Plates were served hot, and presentation of both meals was visually appealing. I had the 4 piece fried chicken plate ($8.75) served with mashed potatoes/brown gravy and coleslaw. DELICIOUS! My wife had Fettucine Alfredo tossed with vegetables and added chicken ($12.95) and served with a garlic breadstick. We were both hoping to find a restaurant with a pasta option, and this did not disappoint. Thick, creamy Alfredo sauce with plenty of parmesan and butter. We both needed to take parts of our dinner home. (PS both also great the next day).I had an icy cold beer, and my wife had her new favorite summertime cocktail. They were happy to make it for her. It was Jameson Whiskey, ginger ale and fresh line wedge. Really refreshing. We don't live far from JW's, so we'll be back. It provided a perfect way to relax at the end of the day.

Will never be back. The wait staff is unprofessional and made us feel unwelcome. Bartender was quick to fill empty glass is why they got a star
