Three years and 3 cosmos. Still the best I've had in Milwaukee! Honestly, today's was better than the rest!

This was a great find and great place! The free shuttle from our hotel could only take us 5 miles (we were going to lake) and this was on the way - he dropped us off here and although there were several places we chose this one because we liked the name! The bar was very clean, friendly bartenders and the only bummer was they didn't have many beers on tap only because they had a tapper issue that morning but the bartender was excellent and the food was really good. We just had chicken tenders - but they were EXCELLENT - large and very tender. Cheese curds were just OK but good enough. Would love to come back when in the area.

I normally go to Dugout 54 (a block west) before Brewers games for dinner and a shuttle ride, but I opted to switch it up and go to J&B's since the company I work for recently ordered lunch from Dugout and I haven't been to J&B's in a long time. The game day menu is limited to burgers, a few apps, and chicken strips so my choices were pretty basic. I ordered a cheeseburger with just lettuce and tater tots for the side. I also got an order of cheese curds.Their cheese curds have the cornmeal-like breading that I'm not a fan of. Unlike usual, though, the breading was crispy and there wasn't too much grease on the bottom. The tater tots were SUPER salty. Not inedibly so, but closer than they should be. The burger didn't seem to be seasoned at all, but at least it was mostly cooked medium like I asked for. I feel like the burger at Dugout has more flavor so I don't see coming back to J&B for their burgers.J&B's used to be open during lunch hours and my company ordered fish from them one time that was excellent. I wish they would open up early at least on Fridays again. Outside of that, I'll stick to Dugout 54 as my go to shuttle bar.

I'm visiting from California and my good friend is a patron here. The bartender, Ryan, as well as the patrons are very friendly. The drinks are STRONG. THE food is MAGNIFICENT!!! I had an appetizer the first time I stopped in, but TONIGHT (Tuesday) I had a BYOB - build your own burger. It was so JUICY and the fries were perfect. I asked the bartender if the ranch is made from sour cream because it was so much much thicker than what we get in California. Different... but very yummy. This is what I put on my burger:Pretzel BunSingle PattyChipotle mayoCheddar & Mozzarella Cheese Fried onionsPickleTomatoBacon

This is a great little neighborhood sports bar. They serve up stiff drinks in a completely casual atmosphere. I've been here on more than one occasion for drinks and once for their Friday night fish fry, but just recently I stopped by to meet friends, grab a bite, and watch the Bucks game.Sometimes, I think the key to dining at a divey neighborhood sports bar is knowing what to order. Because, let's face it, in these situations, the entire menu is not golden. But, there's always something that they bring their A-game on.The trick is to find it.Well, my friends...I've found it.I recently ordered their Blue Ribbon Burger (bleu cheese, Nueske's bacon, mushrooms, and fried onions on a pretzel bun) and it was 100% greasy goodness.I once did a 30 day juice fast. At the end of it, all I wanted was a hand patted, ridiculous caloric shit storm of a burger. This was the burger I'd imagined. And then some.Get to it!

I went here for the first time with some friends and family and I was impressed. The bar tenders and staff were fun and very accommodating. The environment was fun and even though it got busy, there was plenty of room for the big crowd. Lots of seating was available and the food was great!

Pabst Battered Cod$11 for 2 pieces$14 for 3 piecesPabst Battered Cod : A-Potato Pancakes : COld Fashioned : ACheese Curds : A-Tartar Sauce : Extra Tart and pickleyFinal Grade : A-This is our second time visiting J&B's and this visit was as good as the first!Located near Miller Park - J&B's has a sports bar feel, complete with shuffle board. It's a seat yourself place that offers shuttles to Miller Park for Brewer's home games.Drink and beer list is large. I had my usual whiskey old fashioned sweet. It came in a tall glass and was hand muddled. It was heavy on the bitters which I enjoy. It was a great OF!We ordered cheese curds. They were corn meal dusted and were very tasty. The best part is that they come with HOMEMADE ranch. It is THE BEST ranch dressing I've ever had. Thick, creamy and delicious!Pabst battered cod also has a touch of cornmeal in it. This added a really nice crunch to the fish. Fillets were very large and flaky, great quality. I could barely finish the 2 pieces that I ordered. I found the fish to be well seasoned and cooked perfectly. J&B's cod is super yummy and in my top 5 favorite fish fries. The only reason I didn't rate them higher was because the potato pancakes were not that great. We were told they were homemade. I found them to be soggy, dense and bland. Next time I'd opt for fries. My husband got the breakfast burger with Cajun fries and loved it. It had peanut butter on it and was similar to AJ Bombers but better in his option. Cajun fries were tasty but spicy! Great with the left over ranch dressing from the cheese curds. If you are ever in MKE and looking for a great fish fry before or after a Brewer's game, you have to try this place out! Or even if you aren't interested in baseball at all and want a good fish fry outside of Washington County, this place is it.

So I was on a hunt to try a burger at a new place and found this spot. Ordering was really easy and I thought the food was really pretty good. The mushrooms on the Burger were really good. I'm not gonna say they were number one in the Burger department but they are better than one would expect. What I really like is that they buy their beef fresh from Bunzel's Meat Market. This makes a big difference. You can taste a quality in the meat versus going to a lot of other places. I know that we will go back again to try their other burgers. You can really taste the freshness and their burgers. But you gotta remember to order lettuce tomato and what other toppings you may want because they don't come with them. The bar itself is very clean, very cool looking inside and everyone was super nice. They have great customer service.
